He just makes a guess. He doesn't know exactly how long it's going to be.
But 40 hours for the main story seems a bit steep, yes. Just because they said with KOTOR and Jade Empire the main story was 30 hours long, while you could finish those games in around 28 hours while doing a good deal of the sidequests too first playthrough.

But he is missing the point anyway. He feels like he is going to die if he has to change a disc 30 hours into the story once. I just fail to see how it makes the game less enjoyable.
But you know, desperation makes you say drastic things.
so the main reason that people dont want a ps3 is the price. so they go for a cheaper console like the wii.so soon they will start looking back and thnking, i should have saved up and bought a ps3 . say there is a 20inch tv that you can buy now. but if you save up a bit longer, you would have enuf for a 32inch tv. after a while, you will think, why didnt i save up?
so in the end, almost everyone will have one, when they can afford it.

I spend more money on my X360 then a PS3 costs. The main reason I don't want a PS3 is because it lacks games. The only reason to be thinking about getting one is MGS4. And that one is rumoured 2008.
It's a good thing that you put almost in you're thread title because I sure won't get any console for just one game.
I've just read too many programmer and developer blogs about the PS3's hardware that make me unable to say this isn't true. Most of them seem to agree it's not build for gaming and loses it's 'hyped' raw power when games need to be developed for it.
Yeah same thing happens to me alot whenever you look at someones gamer porfile while more then two people are looking at the exact same profile it will kick you off xbox live. If you look at your profile while someone is looking at your gamer score or whatever it will kick you off xbox the same way if more then two people are looking at that profile.jamesgj
That couldn't be more untrue. Spreading lies isn't really going to help anybody. I was looking at my profile simultaneously while 3 other people were also looking at it. I didn't get disconnected, kicked, booted or anything. And I never have been.
