Its almost unbelievable how a company can completely misunderstand every quality and appeal of its product. They seem to have taken everything that made Dead Rising be Dead Rising away and replaced it with everything bland in every game out there. Ridiculous.
Well at least its not a 10 out of 10 saying this is the best damn game of all time. Every time a really hyped game comes along everyone is affraid to get away from the pack and they just go with the flow. GTA IV???? I really prefer a review which at least focus on some of the game´s problems because every damn game has problems!
Respawn took too long to show anything about their project and the hype train died. I doubt most fans of CoD even remember Zampella and West anymore. They lost their thunder behind their wall of silence and blurry images. People were saying CoD was done when they were fired... right...
And Insomniac is dying a slow painful death! After what they did to Ratchet and Resistance i could care less about them!
Sad to hear but they completely killed the Alone in the Dark game. The controls were a mess, the combat awful and if you put up with all that they pulled that "roots of evil" crap at the end to make you grind and pad the length of the game! If you do crap like that you cant expect to win over many fans and purchases!
Guerilla lacked story and characters but more than made up for it with some amazingly fun gameplay. The game was just a blast to play and i couldnt get tired of it. Even if the game didnt make money it became a bit of a cult game in the gaming community! So what do they do with the sequel? Take everything that made guerilla great, the open world freedom and destruction and give us a linear, boring game that´s pretty much all underground which only allows for limited destruction and still dont bother with story or characters, meaning the game had pretty much nothing going for it! Oh and you fight big generic bugs! Then they get surprised when the thing fails! Yeah... no wonder they went bankrupt...
