There is only two real solutions to this situation. Either you get rid of the comments all together, or you just accept that these people are gonna act this way no matter what. You can censor words(which is a terrible idea), ban them, mute them but that would be to hard to follow. Even though you think the internet is full of people with real emotions and I agree fully that there is most people do not give a ****. This is their place to attack anyone with out consequence, and to get a rise. As far as GTA 5 getting a 9 out of 10 I could legit see why some people would be mad not that anger helped any. To give a game a lower score because of a feminist point of view is just ridiculous when the game full well makes it obvious that its the type of world its in. I don't get mad when almost every male lead character is a bad ass muscle freak that I could never be, or any of the other characteristics of men that are just out right not true for the majority of men.

I own this game so it was interesting to read about its history. pretty awesome to hear all the love that went into it.

I am rather torn on the subject of used games. Yes I have bought lots of used games and yes I have even pirated lots of games(not having the money ect), but I have also bought a lot of NEW games to if not all three sources being equal for me. That being said I would like to say I do think its totally unfair that a store like gamestop can buy a game used then sell it back at almost full price some how I find that a bit unfair and I do think that at the very least the publishers should make a cut of that considering how high the game is being sold back for. However for games that are like sub 20 dollars I feel that gamestop shouldnt be penalized for that, but even then maybe a time frame should be required. I also think that the used game market is the only reason why the price of games has not inflated even more than it already is. A monopoly on game prices would be tragic imo, and with no option to sell back to publishers or MS, Sony or Nintendo I feel that is wrong too. I strongly disagree with all the punishment they have been handing out to people who buy used(online passes, ect) and its made me pretty much stop console gaming all together or it least be very careful as to what I buy. I think maybe companies should reconsider their price ranges if anything, or it least stop punishing the consumer for wanting to save money in an already hard economy.

I don't really think he meant any harm by what he was saying. The game comes off like a manly game. The books however don't seem to follow that kind of image. The women in the books tend to have just as important roles as the men in fact there is almost zero gender discrimination or racism far as I can tell with in the coalition. I really don't feel gears of war is a series that has ever been successful by any one character but a team effort to put a woman in the main seat with out any other characters seems "ungears" to me. Its really a series of "brotherhood" (women included) rather than making men to be superior.

This kind of sounded like crying Tom. The new resident evil games are pretty damn good. Dead space was disturbing and scary and survival horror does still exist just not in the main stream because it does not sell. No one wants to touch shitty controls. Lets not forget condemned criminal origins. My point is this though. When resident evil 4 came out the sales on that series sky rocketed. The game designers realized the reason that happened is because they put the old formula in the back seat and upped the action. It would really be nice to have a good survival horror game again but don't blame resident evil 4 for it and don't act like its Capcoms duty to do put one out because there have been games that have tried to do it but have failed and that is the fault of disinterest.

The same people who say guns arn't the problem its the people using them turn around and say games are the problem not the people ....awesome logic.

Of course parents should take their children aside and explain that video games are not real....is that not common sense? There is nothing wrong with researching their effects either, but I think if anything they should be looking more closely at who should be allowed to own guns and keeping track of high risk mental ill people.

I have been on the 360 since gears of war 1. It was an epic(no pun intended) experience at the time and even for a few years after until I acquired all the consoles. The Wii wasn't the best for online but it still did it alright and the ps3 just never had anything I felt worth playing. I eventually got a gaming worthy computer and started playing games on steam and now I can't even look at the 360 with out a little bit of shame. No one should have to pay for xbox live gold.
