@olddadgamer: I was thinking along the same lines, but then I realized there has to be an age gap.

Is it the uncut version of the film or are we lucky enough to get both?

Jack Kirby's face isn't as recognizable as Stan's, but comic fans know the name.

EDIT: "The fact of the matter is, no matter what happens, the Eternals won't be a replacement Avengers, and they'll stand completely apart from other teams like the Guardians of the Galaxy or other mythologically inspired races like the Asgardians--which is a very cool prospect, but also an intimidating one."

Sounds very much like what the InHumans were supposed to be. I hope this turns out better.

You pretty much explained it the way my wife did to me 20+ years ago, very detailed, very well worded, and you even give examples. The sad part is that the moment I saw the title of this article, sports bra came to mind..... I blame that one on having a daughter.

@streamline: It's the part where he says he finally get to try it out and we see it flash on the screen.

I'll eventually watch it, but if I wanted a movie about killer A.I. I'd watch a Terminator film, or "I, Robot". It's an interesting take on the source material, but not theater worthy for me.

Don't give me some Chocolate Spectrum crap, fair or not the bar the studio set was lower than the one set by fan expectations. EVEN THEN, if your film is mildly entertaining to a broad audience, there's money to be made. People complain about the Star Wars Prequels to this day, but you can't tell me that they made all of that money because people didn't believe they were that bad and had to see it for themselves. Longtime fans may have disliked them, but the general audience was entertained enough.

Two feature films and two animated features that pretty much kept the original cast throughout preceded this Hellboy movie. Some fans were really holding out for Del Toro to magically come back and do a third. Add all of this to a film with poor reviews and there's little wonder why it failed.
