WoW is just a mindblowing success at this point, especially with the way the sub model has crumbled around them and yet they still manage to pull in absurd numbers for a 9 year old game.
There are things about Blizz I don't appreciate, but its hard to deny they have the magic formula. To think, they are achieving all this crazy success on a single platform, too.
@Future_Unknown Civ V is in a pretty nice state at the moment. Remember it took Civ IV two expansions before it became the legendary game it is. With the third Civ V expansion on the horizon, I believe we will end up with a game more than worthy of the Civ name.
@Ladiesman17 so that's whats been happening. This will be my last post in a comments section if that's the case. I'm not going to waste my time typing out a response to something if a moderator is just going to delete it every time...
I like how the headline is 'pirated at extraordinary levels' as opposed to 'HM sells 130k'. The game can be pirated a billion times over, however as long as it sells well, which it clearly has so far, then that's what we should be looking at. No one ever stopped making games because of piracy, they stop making games when those games don't sell, so why the hangup over focusing on dodgy non-sales over legitimate Steam/GoG figures?
It's weak, and Gamespot do this way to often in hope of a cheap headline.
