Incredibly underrated. Got it before the Souls games and I loved it. Recently started playing it again.

@suicidesn0wman: I know exactly how you feel. I've played a fair amount of racers over the years, but seeing red laps never goes away. I've only played the demo of Toca 3, and I hated it. Didn't like the handling, couldn't get a feel to it after several tries so I left it alone. Back when I used to play PGR 3 though, those were the days. I never went alone, and I didn't even have an account (I was never really interested in that back then) but I was able to complete all of the challenges with most of them being gold. I bought almost every car in the game, unlocked every garage and I'd even spend a lot of time playing the Geometry Wars mini game.

My most recent racing games include Driveclub, The Crew and Project CARS. Driveclub is heavily underrated. Most people complain about the handling being wonky among other things, but none of that really got to me all that much. I'll need to go back to it one day, because I genuinely had a lot of fun with it. One of the first games I played on my PS4. The Crew is the same too. People looked over the gameplay in favour of lambasting the visuals. Sure, they don't look amazing, but the game itself is worthy of praise. You can drive across an entire map of the USA, that's good on it's own, but they add to that even more. Project CARS is a weird one though. While I've only played it for about two hours in total, it's difficult to get used to. Before my first race I was presented with a plethora of options to customize and tweak, which is good but overwhelming at the same time. Plus, it focuses on realism a little too much for my liking, the handling is super sensitive and the car models are photo-realistic. Not many cars though.

About the aggressive driving style, I suffer from it too. In Gran Turismo 3 (a game that I can't decide whether I like it or not) I find that the best way to bend 'round a corner is to use another car as leverage. If I don't, I go flying into the grass on the side of the track. Also I have a habit of murdering any opponent at any given time, especially in Driveclub since the AI is relentless. Anyway, hopefully you set a time that you'll be proud of in the near future. After practicing on other games, it will finally click. Also, I'm going to pick up Dirt Rally on the PS4 very soon, hopefully I can rule the dirt once more (the last time I did that was on a demo of WRC 3 on the PS2).

@mrbojangles25: Yeah that line still makes me laugh every time I hear it. I only have Chaos Theory, I tried the first game but I thought it was awful. A real shame since I had such high hopes for it. I got my copy on the PS2 and I don't know if I was intoxicated, but the graphics looked a mess. Combine the hideous visuals with some woeful controls and broken mechanics and you have a recipe for frustration. Chances are I'll never go back to it, but at least the voice acting was superb.

As for Chaos Theory, I own that on the 3DS, a port that most people didn't like. I thought it was pretty decent, though I can imagine the home console version being much better. Really wanted the first one to be good.

@i_p_daily: While the PS4 has a few decent racers, I see where you're coming from. Racing games aren't a strong point for PlayStations, but they aren't exactly weak either.

@i_p_daily: I'm planning on getting into the original a lot more, play some of the exclusives and uncover some history. So far I love it. Don't know if I'll get a 360, I've played on one before, but I'm not sure if I should get one. I'm not getting an Xbox One at all.

On a side note, I recommend getting the PS3 and PS4. The PS3 is home to collections of some PS2 classics (Jak and Daxter, Ratchet and Clank) while the PS3 brought new IPs along (Demon's Souls, Resistance, Little Big Planet, inFamous, etc).

@Pikminmaniac: Troy Baker is one of my favourite voice actors of this generation. He's up there with Nolan North in terms of versatility.

My number one pick would be Elias Toufexis as Adam Jensen from Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

My second choice would be David Hayter as Solid Snake and Naked Snake from the Metal Gear Solid series.

Finally, taking the bronze medal is Michael Ironside as Sam Fisher from the Splinter Cell franchise.
