Sooo.... If you don't buy it, others have an advantage, but even if you do buy in, you still won't be able to use it until you level up. Sticking it to both parties! Way to go!

As long as they disclose their sponsorship then I don't mind. I'd also probably encourage GameSpot to have a non-UK office editor review the game since many all of these sponsorships seem to be involving the UK office.

@silversix_ News flash, clicking on the article to complain about it is counter productive. The number of clicks is their primary metric for interest.

@FBohler Not even waiting for a price drop. Just waiting to have the liquid cash to buy it. I was up in the air between this and the Xbox simply because I am THAT huge of a Halo fan. But Wii U has the winning games line-up this year by a landslide. At least three 8+ exclusives that I can think of just off the top of my head in the past 9 months.

Upgraded graphics and sounds are great. But when a major aspect of the gameplay is so broken, why pick it up? I remember hearing them talk about how much this will have in it and being amazed. Turns out that they've only delivered on a fraction of those promises so far.

@ahmad996 Disgree. MAY eventually be fixed. He can give you an inaccurate review today to please people or an accurate review to not misled people. I'd rather have the latter. As far as I'm concerned, this game is more than half broken.

I think they should readjust the score if/when the game is fixed. It's very much within their power to do so. But right now, it should be docked heavily for having potentially the biggest aspect of the game nearly unplayable.

Great video. I think MMOs have fulfilled a need for a lot of people who feel like outcasts. It has allowed such people to meet those that are like minded more easily and provided them a way to not be judged for who you are (because you don't know who is on the other side).

I played Asheron's Call for quite some time. While I never had a particular need for companionship, it did quite a bit to open my eyes to how irrelevant so much of this is. When you don't know what color someone's skin is, whether they are in a relationship with someone of the same or opposite sex, or what house of worship they belong to, I think you learn to respect people a lot more. Most of the time, you'd never know that these people were any different than you.
