The more and more I think about it, the more this feels like it's going to blow up in their face... at least in the short term, because Facebook is behind them, so it's not like they are going to just disappear like the Ouya did.

I expect PSVR will be cheaper, more reliable (since it only has to work with a single hardware set up), and to have a better software line-up.

... I know you've got to write what people are talking about (which isn't a whole lot this time of year), but this is news worthy? Final Fantasy is known for having lots of characters, and since VII at least, they average less than 1 love interest per game.

@archav3n: What does it matter what they know about gaming demographics? They are still free to voice whatever opinion they might have. They are part of the most important demographic: The potential customer. There's no demographic more important.

Also, if it's a 1% minority, what are the odds that the people who complained about Lightning are the same complaining about FFXV? Only about 1 in 10,000.

I wish I could say that's good to hear, but I certainly wish it had sold more than that, but I guess that's not half bad compared to the original 5M that the reboot sold. I guess that would be a comparatively high attach rate. But still...

It was a dumb choice of words, but I didn't read it as him calling Disney "white slavers" so much as self-deprecating humor. In the original context, he was talking about how he was the kind of person who "sold his children" to slavers.

Great list. I love it when these kinds of lists are so varied. I have to agree that Rapture's soundtrack is probably my favorite this year. Absolutely beautiful.

Several of these are on my "must play" but I'm particularly interested in #4 now. I'll have to see what that was about.
