PC was able to do that before consoles were. Well, for me personally, thats the reason i prefer my xbox ie large tv and surround sound. Its not really feasible to setup my pc in my living room, plus for the ordinary gamer it can be tricky to setup. Ie my brother would have no idea where to start.Better question would be why you would play BF3 on consoles.
