March was good to me... I bought my most played games of the year in the month of March. Just Cause 2. This game is just plain fun. I am really looking forward to a follow-up and have been surprised that the DLC has not featured new missions. Battlefield: Bad Company 2. I put it down for a couple of months, but it has been more on than off. I _still_ have not played the single-player campaign - it is all about the multiplayer :) EM
If that DJ from Burnout Paradise had ANY THING AT ALL to do with this game, I will not be touching it. That dude could take gaming gold and turn it into a pile of steaming poo. EM
Um, there have been tons of games that allow you to fly as a german aviator and they span both World Wars. I am not seeing any real difference between shooting/sniping and flying/bombing, however the flight simulators don't have any of the detractors that I see here.... (Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe would be the poster child for what I am talking about.) EM
Just Cause 2 was by far the most fun I've had this year ! It came out on my birthday it was a outstanding present :) Battlefield Bad Company 2 has provided me with a lot of entainment as well and has earned a well-deserved honorable mention. I'd like to give Fallout New Vegas a whirl, but it will be after Christmas probably. EM
I am a long time PC gamer, but I played this one strictly with an xbox 360 controller which allowed me to keep the game play fluid and fun. If you are trying to play with a keyboard and mouse, you are doing yourself a disservice - it is much, much better when you play it as a fast paced action movie instead of as a first person shooter. Embrace the auto-aim :) Anyhow, I have 52 hours in GTA IV and around 140 in JC2. A much better story in GTA IV, but much better action in JC2. EM
If you've not played FO3, you might as well do that while allowing time for FO:NV to get patched up. Fallout 3 was a lot of fun and quite enjoyable. EM
