@adamus: Of course. Contradict the thing you brought up as an argumentative reason to hate the game that started your little rant and all of a sudden it doesn't matter, the game's garbage anyway.
What you mean to say is, when you started talking you were just saying it doesn't matter what the reason is, I want something to justify why I hate the game for no reason.
Show us on this doll where Assassin's Creed hurt you?
You go read something about how Shadow of War is changing the multiple different facets of combat and enemy archetypes with strengths and weaknesses and then you come over here and it's "maybe they jump now. Maybe when they die the animation is different."
@spartanx169x: The difference with Shadow of War (and Mordor) is that dying is a vehicle for time progressing. So you naturally want to still avoid death, because now it may be worse in that an orc could downgrade your weapon by breaking it, but also because the next time you try it the situation won't be the same as time has moved on. The game gives you the option to die on purpose, but its more there to make death interesting while also a consequence. Instead of dying as a black and white Fail State that forces you to learn the exact behaviors and patterns of the level, dying here forces you to re-learn the unique set of parameters that have surfaced BECAUSE of you dying, and that wouldn't be there if you hadn't died, or died in that specific way.
Garbage of a conference. Bethesda is disrespecting it's fans by somehow believing in the hype of Skyrim 6 years later and also being completely ignorant of how much fans want the next Elder Scrolls game. Their conference was like watching a child walk into the teachers lounge in a suit and acting like everything it did was gold. None of that deserved to be at E3.
It may sound entitled, but it's the honest truth; Bethesda has fans because of Fallout and Elder Scrolls, and they're trashing the names of both of them with a blatant disregard for their fans.
"Releases" the same time Red Dead does, is gauranteed to be less polished as it's an mmo from a small dev team being kickstarter funded. And the worst part, it's only combat is pvp.
This game will die a slow, painful and disappointing death.
