It may have something to do with your router's NAT type, Make sure it's set to Open.. errrm, Do that "Test your connection" and see what the 360 says about it..
I'm in the UK.. I sent my Xbox 360 Elite off to Microsoft's repair center in Frankfurt, Germany on the 29th, and on Xbox.com repair status, I'm on the fourth option: They've shipping it back it to me repaired...
It had changed to the fourth option sometime last week but whatever lol, How long do you think it will take for it to get back to me in London?
o. I have that exact problem just today!!!Follow these steps, my friend...Clone the MAC address of your ps3 over to your xbox 360, it has an option to put any MAC in. The DNS is not letting your 360 through because it's a different MAC, somethings most internet companies do becuase they're stupid. I'm not sure how to find out the MAC of your ps3, but just select Change MAC from your xbox 360 ... systems menu and network settings then go to edit settings and then additional settings. You'd have to go down to the second section that says Advanced settings, host name and alternate MAC Address. Just select that and change the MAC to your ps3 MAC and it should work just fine and dandy..... if you can find out the ps3 mac that is.
EDIT: Ok, I found this on forum for ps3 on how to find the MAC "At the XMB go to Settings --> System Settings --> System Information and click." I'm guessing XMB means that wavey bar thing the ps3 has... cross menu bar! thats it, I'm so smrt. It worked for me!!!! It also cured my splitting headache from the problem! =)
