@canuckbiker: No, because I never have to worry about plugging in my controller. The batteries die after 25-30 hours of use (another problem with the DS4 battery, the shit life), and I swap them out for another set of Eneloops that are already charged and ready to go.

@bdrtfm@oldtobie: Estimated by who? I've seen $14 per year.
<< LINK REMOVED >> This is something that gets overlooked too often. I have a gaming/work rig that can easily outperform the new consoles, but nine times out of ten, I buy games on PS4 or Xbone for the reasons you mentioned. At least once a year, I buy a game on PC that doesn't work because of driver conflicts, or there are overall conflicts with my setup.
I swear off PC gaming every year, only to come back to it. It has its place, but it can be frustrating.
<< LINK REMOVED >> Halo 3, BioShock, Portal, Team Fortress 2, HL2 Ep 2, Rock Band, Mario Galaxy, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Phantom Hourglass, The Burning Crusade, Crackdown, GRAW 2, STALKER, Forza 2, Dirt, The Darkness, Persona 3, Metroid Prime 3, Skate, Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, The Witcher, Crysis.
The list goes on and on for 2007. It was an amazing year.
<< LINK REMOVED >><< LINK REMOVED >> Foley raised a stink on Facebook earlier this year about royalty payouts for the game not being what they should. He either asked to be pulled, or the WWE terminated his legends contract.
<< LINK REMOVED >> This has been a thing in EA games for a couple years now. Starting with Mass Effect 3.
Console date is pushed to July 31st. I'm playing it on PC right now and it is a hardcore RPG, but really awesome for most. The 360 version will have extra content, too.
As for 360 games out now, the only pirate-centric game I have played is Age of Booty, really dig it.
I think it's better to get the arcade and if you want the Hard drive then get the Elite. Or you could just use the hard drive you have right now. Anyway, the point is the slim and the new arcades are all made the same way i.e. with jaspers. While chances of RROD have gone down that is not to say that they cannot happen.
RROD means general hardware failure. On previous xboxes it was happening because of heat sync issues now microsoft has improved upon that.
I'm already on my 3rd and I got an arcade and am using it with the hard drive from the old one. Bottomline if you do not need wifi on your xbox then get the arcade or elite because the slim is practically the same thing except for the wifi.
The S model uses the Valhalla chipset. Completely different than the Jasper model.
