If you can review a game on Steam, that means you have played it. You seem to be confused, and blinded by your anger because people do not like the same game that you do, nor share the same business ethics as you do. We are talking about Steamworks right? It is a Steamworks game. Assuming that I did not play the game, and making stuff up to personally attack me? Hypocrite much?

Make fewer assumptions. More people will like you. And if that doesn't tickle your fancy, no need to bring the hammer of judgement on everyone on Gamespot. You do not know any of us. You are not going to win a lifetime achievement award any time soon.

So now the alpha and the beta are the finished product? Everybody on Steam knows that if you participated in the beta for Evolve you can review it. The point is, did you play the finished product? Do you own Evolve? If not your review is most definitely abusing the system and it's a scumbag move. Anger. Haha. Because calling out somebody who openly admitted to abusing the Steam reviews section makes me angry. Great logic there, buddy.

What do I care if you don't like me? You have no integrity. You reviewed a game without playing the finished product. It doesn't matter what reasoning you had behind doing what you did. It was wrong and it most definitely misled people.

I'd ask you to prove that you actually do have the game by posting a screen shot of your review but since you don't have any integrity there's no way I'm going to trust you.

So we all live in a world where there are no other ways to try a product without buying it? Ever heard of friends? Oh wait, let me hear it... The pirate accusation coming up...in...1....2. Doesn't matter. The fact of the matter is, Evolve has not changed since Alpha and Beta. It's the same game. Do you know what pre-Alpha, Alpha, Beta stages are? The core game of Evolve remains the same. If you cannot see that, you are blind and you are in denial. Apologist to the extreme. If you like Evolve, that's fine. I am not saying you shouldn't, nor am I saying that is wrong. If you enjoy it, you enjoy it.

Trust on the internet? Wow gee, mister. You wouldn't trust a professional reviewer either because he didn't like the game you liked. Oooh. Big deal.

Yes, you are angry. If you weren't angry, you wouldn't have spent all this time quoting me after you have proved to everyone that you do not possess a receptive mind to differing views and opinions.

No one here has to prove anything to you, nor do I care if you trust me or not. Why on earth would I care if you did? I don't know you. No one here wants/needs your approval. You are just another person on the internet hiding behind your keyboard and believing how this little speck of a post matters in the world. I hate to break it to you, kid. It doesn't matter. There are much bigger things. But, from the short time I have spent here responding to meaningless banter, I can see that you haven't broadened your mind yet. You have too much to learn.

I don't know if you're a pirate or not. What I do know is that you're a liar and you have zero integrity. The alpha and beta are not the same as the finished product. You played a handful of maps during the beta and a single mode. The fact of the matter is that you have no right to review a product without if you don't own it and haven't tested it extensively.

This has nothing to do with whether you liked the game or not. I don't care if you liked it, you liking it doesn't affect me. What I do care about is you abusing the Steam review system simply because you are angry at a certain practice by the developers.

You're confusing anger with being principled. Easily confused when one doesn't have any. Like I already said, it has nothing to do with you liking or disliking the game. That is not something you can fully determine without playing the finished product, which you didn't.

You don't have to do anything, that is correct. But that doesn't mean I'm not going to call you out when you act unscrupulously. What does it matter what medium I'm voicing my views over? Pot calling the kettle black much? The difference between me and you is I don't need to resort to insults in all of this. Everything I've said is fact, backed up by your own posts or lack-there-of.

Principle. You want to talk about principle, yet you support a company that destroys the word integrity, and shits all over the word. You are the last person in this forum that should lecture anyone about principle because you are nothing but a hypocrite. Many people have slammed you to the ground for your narrow minded and lack of principle views. If anyone is the one that should be ashamed for not having any principle, integrity, and balls, it is you. There is nothing worse than a hypocrite, and a finger-pointer. A person that does not know how to accept responsibility for contributing to the cesspool that is 2K games and other publishers that support disgusting business practices.

You have no argument. You keep going after the only thing that you believe you have a hold over me, which is the one and only thing you made up. Making things up is the worst thing you could do in an argument. It is childish. I made a not recommended review because I did not like the game, and you get butt hurt because you like the game. Typical. Then you assume that everyone in this thread did not play the final product. Another assumption. You lost the argument in your first post.

More assumptions include: Angry = negative review. Negative review = angry. Again, another assumption. So anyone that critiques a game negatively, or calls out a company for bad business practices is an angry Jack. Okay. No one should have a voice. Gotcha. Neither should you. Assumptions are terrible. Sign up for a critical thinking course at a local community college. It will do you more good than spending time here on Gamespot, which you seem to do a lot, lurking like a leper.

You accuse the OP for lying, when the evidence is in every damn article written about Evolve. Do you have buyer's remorse or something? Are you looking for any pathetic reason to justify your terrible decision-making skills that lead you buy a product that supports what is wrong with everything in the business world? When you make things up in your head and you believe that only, that is lying. You are basically a fraud.

There is nothing that you can say that I won't rip apart. You have no point. You were the first person to personally attack others.

You have no proof that I didn't play the finished product. Where is your proof? See how that works? Again, you are a hypocrite. You make many assumptions. I was able to tell by your first post that you are uneducated. Gamespot is where you thrive, and while I mean no disrespect to some of the few last standing good Gamespot members (you know who you are), this is the very reason Gamespot collapsed since 2005. I will personally attack you now because at this point, you are simply pathetic, and you hold no credibility to a single word that you type.

For once I'm with you.

This DLC behavior is the cancer of PC gaming.

Each to their own I guess, but more fool to those who line the pockets of these devs.

Agreed.

I have never abused the Steam review system before, but I had to make one of those annoying not recommended/downvote reviews. Over 1,000 upvotes. I am glad to see that many people are not falling for this DLC deathtrap.

It's a broken user review system anyway.

Despite the DLC crap, it's still a boring game! And, to think, I was really looking forward to this one!

That is truly a shitty thing to do. I would be ashamed of myself for doing something like that.

Not exactly. I have written 27 legitimate reviews before it. It was an experiment. And the experiment proved two things to be nearly true. It goes to show.. Even then, I think anyone that will defend a company like 2K should be ashamed of themselves. But blind sheep will be blind.

When they slap on all the DLCs and microtransaction business models on most games in the future, don't come crying. Anyone that thinks this is okay is not worth responding to.

Yes exactly. Writing a review for something you have never tried is lying. Plain and simple.

You don't have to like a certain business model, but that doesn't give you the right to lie about it to others. That is a truly shitty thing to do.
