When I first started playing, I beat AC so fast that I didn't really understand the style of gameplay that it wanted you to use. After beating it though, I played ACII, beat it, and got nearly all of the achievements and bought every item, etc. - After that, I went back to AC to pass time until Brotherhood and Revelations got here, and in doing so, I truly got a grip on the defensive combat they wanted you to use.

Now I continue to play and nearly every kill I get has a "kill-cam", or whatever you want to call it. The first game was truly great, but it made so many mistakes for me, and to me, the story was just all too similar. Given this, though, they definitely created a standard that they could ultimately improve on infintely. Tomorrow will be the start of me and the last two games, so I'll return with probably some strong feelings. Haha.

Also, when I found out that Ezio was the main character in 3 games, I was pretty shocked. I mean, Ezio is a great character, but they gave Altair and Connor only 1 game a piece as the main role. At this point, Connor seems veryyyyyyyy interesting too.

7/25 I bought AC and ACII and had them both beat by 7/31. As of today, I have 48/50 achievements in ACII and 30ish/40 - 45 in AC.

My friend agreed to send me Brotherhood and Revelations (Which both arrive Saturday!) only for Guitar Hero III and Mirror's Edge!

[By the way, my girlfriend had time to beat GTA IV: Lost and Damned - and she's working on TBOGT, AND I've gained 10+ pounds in the gym over the past month and a half, so I'm doing very well. I've just had a lot of free time because I'm about to get a job as an airplane mechanic, but until then, I'm free. Haha]

- Anyways, has anybody else, or is anybody currently going back through any AC games to prepare yourself for ACIII or am I just a lone wolf?

[*I want to start using the site more and posting blogs more frequently, but at this point it's pretty pointless because I'm getting 0 comments. Feel free to add me, and as long as I have an audience, I will post more frequently.]

Thanks for any input or replies!

ACIII and at the beginning of next year, SC Blacklist. Assassin's Creed III is a must have for series fans.

I would go with the Assassin's Creed series. If you want to start off with just one, start with Assassin's Creed II. If you're looking to get into the series (which is spectacular), start with Assassin's Creed for sure. I bought 1 + 2 7/25, didn't put them down and beat them both by 7/31 because I was so into the story. Saturday I will have Brotherhood and Revelations. Then ACIII comes out this October! The series has continued to improve, and the storyline is truly better than that of a movie. Also, ACIII is looking extremely promising at this point.

Have you played any of the PREVIOUS Greg Hastings, or even the new one?

I'm a huge paintball fan, and I would really like a paintball game in my collection. Despite what I've heard about both of these games, I'm still interested. I mean, I've heard some pretty mediocre things, and I'm basically just wanting the game for the match itself.. Paintball. I've always played Greg Hastings Maxxd and the older ones, but have any of you played both of the newer ones, or have any sort of comparison between the two? Anything helps.

I'd like to know things like: Do both, or either feature real players? Which career is more in depth? Which guns/graphics/sounds are more accurate? Which has better replay value?

Thanks a million to all who reply.
