There are a tonne of great games out now!  I wish you'd said something about the kind of games you like:  it'd make the rec a bit easier.  Anywho, I completely agree with the other poseters.  I'd add Lumines I or II and PuzzleQuest.  If you like racers and want an inexpensive one, Wipeout Pure is fun and you can get a used copy for around 10 bucks.  Daxter is fun, but Ratchet and Clank is, IMO, better.  If you're into retro, the Genesis compilation is cool.

So today the PSP updated to 3.5 and under RSS you can get at a new menu item, the RSS Channel Guide.  I use the RSS feature daily, for a tonne of different podcasts.  I was interested in the channel guide.  Unfortunately, it led me to PS Mayhem.  If you haven't listened to this podcast before, you need to.  It's...what's the word?  Preposterous!  It's official, right?  I mean, it must be -- it's linked from the Channel Guide.  Anywho, long story short, it's drivel that tries so hard to appeal to a gamer audience and be cool it ends up nothing but assinine.  The Channel guide may be great, but for now it's wretchedly propagandistic.  Ugh.

For now, you have to update using the Network Update feature on the PSP.  It's not available on the website yet.  It will be soon, though.

It doesn't add much, though

Support has been added to allow remote play over the internet in [Remote Play]

[RSS Channel Guide] has been added as a feature under [RSS Channel]

Ohh well -- it's new!

I've picked up FF:AE already, though Play-Asia.  If you're a fan of the game, it's worth it.  The graphical update is brilliant.  As for detractors who say it's simply a port of the Dawn of Souls I can only respond:  I don't have a DS or a GBA and I really enjoy the game.  It's totally worth it to me.

It's a great game:  I bought it a while back, played the heck out of it and then replayed it.  Totally fun!

If I understand your question, what you should look into is the LocationFree Player.

I've had the game since the week of release.  It's great.  I play it lessnow than I did, but I still haven't finished the game. It's still fun to pick up.  The challenge increases pretty regularly as the monsters you fight get harder.  As someone who enjoys puzzle games and RPGs, it's one of the best games I've picked up in ages.  Fun to play, fun to replay (because of the different classes and abilities), an well worth the cost of admission.
