I don't get how they can make all these improvements -- esp the 8G flash drive -- and even imagine keeping the price below 200 USD.  It sounds amazing, but until I see some pics, I'm going to be sceptical.  Well, really, until Sony makes the announcement, I'm going to be sceptical.

"I wasted my time this morning downloading the overlord demo"

Dude, it's a free demo and you can do other things while it's downloading.  Love or hate the game, getting the demo from Live shouldn't waste your time.  Look at the bright side:  a free demo saved you 60 bucks, or at least the cost of a rental.

Anywho, I do agree that the controls are a bit awkward, but otherwise, I like the game.  The demo might not be fully optimized yet, either -- the games almost a month away, right?

As you've probably heard, VoIP is coming to the PSP in the UK through British Telecom.  Here's a vid, conveniently linked.

Slimmer, lighter, and different IMD loader (slot maybe).

Will have a 4gb or 8gb flash harddrive and still have a Pro Duo card slot.

Will have louder speakers and brighter screen.

Will not have a second analog or better trigger buttons.

Will cost like $249 - like a premium package - current PSPs without the flash drive will still be $169.

 Philosoma

I think if there is a redesign, E3's the place and time to announce it.  I also think these are some of the best predictions I've read for enhancements.  I'd reckon a 4G flash drive if any, given that these cards are so inexpensive now.  The 8G would  drive the price up too high.  A slot loader is the way to go, too -- fewer moving parts = easier assembly and greater durability.  I can't imagine there would be any changes that would dramatically increase the price of the thing; that strikes me as folly.  Great forecast, Philosoma.  I guess now we can only wait.

Has anyone heard what's coming to XBLA this week?  Maybe they're going to announce this week's arcade?  Related to PacMan?

Xbox Fanboy just updated their post; it reads:

Update
: We've learned from Aaron Greenberg that the announcement will take place tomorrow between 12:30 and 1:30 pm Eastern Time. And, before this gets out of hand, we've heard rumblings that this announcement won't be huge, but that it should be relatively cool nonetheless.

Greenberg said "we have a secret to unveil for gamers around the world that I think will go down in video game history." A lot of people on the forums are speculating that it will have to do with Ignition. I'm hopeful (especially in light of what G siad) that it's something aimed more towrads gaming. I guess we'll see.

Maybe M$ has something up its sleeve to compete with the Wii's waggle?
