While the Wii U does need more third party support (I partially blame the laziness of developers because Nintendo really can't force developers to make games for their system), I think we can all agree this really won't hurt the system's sales xD. We need more quality games for the Wii U, not trash like this.
Well, while most people I've seen aren't impressed with or even downright hate the multiplayer in this game, at least they didn't cut out any of the story to sell as dlc (I'm looking at you EA and Capcom). Honestly, if you don't play the multiplayer, who cares, they're not forcing you to buy it.
I havent seen anything that would make me buy this at launch. Hit me up when the console actually has some exclusives (really not interested in Killzone 4 or Infamous 3). Im sure this is going to be the better console out of the two but that price tag is too high for a system mostly with games I can buy on current gen or PC.
@tgwolf We've already been held back for years now, whether it's the oil/energy companies holding back alternative sources of energy because it would hurt their revenue stream, pharmaceutical companies holding back cures because it would hurt their revenue streams, the government paying farms not to grow crops so they can sell genetically altered products, companies hiring cheap/illegal migrant workers so it....well you see where I'm going. Greed rules the world right now and if you're not part of the elite, well you're out of luck.
Now I can't speak for the console generation's future, but PC's future looks bright, especially with quantum computing, and clearly handhelds are going to become more and more popular, whether its consoles, tablets, or smartphones.
Mr Mc Shae seems to have forgotten to mention Call of Duty continuing to break records every time a new one is released.....yes it is sad.
In all seriousness though I'm not sure how I can view "Trading in our rights as consumers isn't entirely a negative shift, even though it appears that way initially" as a positive in any way.
