@Prats1993: Gone Home is NOT a real game. It's a walking simulator. Basically a westernized version of a motion graphic novel. There is no real gameplay.

""It's not the game, it's the gun. It's not the computer, it's the culture. It's not the player.""

Uh, no. Guns don't walk around and shoot people by themselves. The psychos that commit mass shootings are the ones to blame. That, the revolving door prison system, and the complete lack of mental healthcare in this country.

@xcrimsonxsynx: Yep, it'll support movies in 4k... at 5fps.

"The PS4 Pro offers 4K resolution, better visuals, and potentially higher frame rates."

TO HELL with 4k, just focus on frame rates if your console is too weak, Sony.

We really need a return to the aggressive marketing of the 90's. If classic, 90's Sega were in Microsoft's position right now, they'd be like "Pfft, 4.2 Teraflops? Nice starter console, N00bs!"

@Gravity_Slave: I spent $750 on my last build two and a half years ago, and it SMOKES the PS4. Sure, I spent about double the launch PS4 price, but I get the games for MUCH less. Shadow Warrior (2013) only cost me $30 the day it came out. It was $60 when it went to consoles a year later.

In the end, pc gaming is LESS expensive than console gaming. The hardware is more, but Steam Sales and Humble Bundle make it a bargain. In the past five years, the only pc games I paid $60 for were Duke Forever (mistake), Sleeping Dogs, Max Payne 3, and GTA V... and that's FOUR out of 203. ...and I still have four pages of Humble Bundle keys I never activated. So, yeah. I got TONS of games, and really haven't spent much at all.

@hwoarang45: Steam sales, Humble Bundle, complete control over the parts used in your rig, customization, homebrew, you can use any control method you want, overclocking, upgradeability.

Plus, when you build a pc, you aren't forced to support the slave labor at places like Foxconn.

@bacontophat45: Exactly. Frame rate is king. For me, it's:

1. Frame rate

2. High to max graphics settings

3. resolution

as far as importance. I'd rather run a game maxed out at only 720p at a constant 60fps than 1080p, 30fps.

@troll_elite: I've been mostly a pc gamer for the past decade, and I STILL don't see the point in a frame rate over 60fps. After about 50fps, you cannot tell the difference. Anything after that is just a placebo effect.
