Can't agree more on that. I miss the old days. Greg Kasavin (Bastion), Alex Navrro (Screened.com). Man, I loved that guy. The whole crew was full of unique and cool personalities. I don't know what happened at Gamespot, but when more popularity and more money means less talent and quality, there's a problem somewhere. Seems like this kind of thing is not only happening at Gamespot, but in every sphere of the world. More money=More crap.

Effects are gorgeous I have to agree. Remastered original Diablo soundtracks are also a big plus. Textures are pretty low resolution though. But the artwork behind it is somewhat good, if you like that kind of stuff (WoW like a bit). Character models are horrible though, that's the worst part. Visually, oipluckie is right on, doesn't feel like a Diablo atmosphere. In motion though, thanks to the incredible audio work, it's not that bad. But I'm still pissed at the art direction, and at Blizzard itself for various reasons, good audio and spell effects or not. Yeah I know, what counts in the end is the overall fun factor. We'll see.

@RAD_RADIO I still understand the point, if you don't like it, don't buy it, but don't pirate it either. But again, this whole pirating stuff have been blown out of proportion since many years, by the big studios themselves. "PC gaming is dying cause of piracy, OH NOOSSS!" Just look at all the piracy on consoles nowadays. Most consoles don't even need Hard Moding anymore, Soft Moding does the trick. It was just an excuse from big compagnies that are only wafter money to streamline the gaming market. No passion for games, only for money.

What if someone pirates a game, then if he enjoys it, buy it. Or if not, just delete it after 2h of gameplay, because it's basically garbage, like a lot of games these days? Besides, there's even games that are basically great, but are so unstable and bug filled that they don't deserve to be paid for. Example: Bethesda games. No more Fallout or TES? I don't give a damn. I've wasted so many hours installing mods, un-official patches, reading tutorials to make the games more stable, to be left with games that still crash every 10 minutes and corrupts my savegames. THEY should pay people to playtest their Alpha stage garbage. For what is of Diablo 3, even if 100% of people would pirate it, Blizzard would still have money coming out from their you know what. I buy games I believe in, from studios I believe in.

We make the game with shitty graphics so everyone can play it, but let's force constant connection requirement. Good logic...Innovation doesn't mean huge flashy textures right, but shitty 64x64 textures doesn't necessarily means innovation either.

Is he playing on god mod or what? Lol, I hope it's possible to adjust the difficulty to something way harder than that. Amazing looking game otherwise.
