@Link3301 @DarthLod Mario Galaxy literally should have been game of the year. It was awesome.

3D Mario usually comes out once every 5 years.... so yeah. I think it is great they are working on a new one!

He is right though Nintendo should stop releasing so many sequels to CoD, Madden, Sonic, GTA, Street Fighter, Soul Calibur... god.

What is the deal with Nintendo continuously releasing updates to these series every year, or even more than once in a year?

@ArabrockermanX They are adding GamePad support, allowing them to be output in the 1080P resolution, adding MiiVerse support, and Pro Controller support, and updated save states.

Sure the games will not be 1080P. Probably will still be the old resolution, but Nintendo will no doubt work on making them scale properly so they don't get distorted.

@mimipat42 I will get it for my favorites like Super Metroid and Star Fox 64 when they finally roll it out. Others I'll pass on.

But I don't mind paying $1.50. I mean I spend more than that eating out with friends over paying for food because that is where they want to eat. lol

@baxwam Lots of Nintendo fans... who like to make comments and express their excitement. Lot of Sony and Microsoft fans who like to torment them.

@shadowhunter0 @wcwj26 From Nintendo's financial reports. Divide Wii software sales (826.93 million) by Wii Systems sales (96.56 million) and you arrive at 8.5638 games per system.

Again, very similar to the 360 lifetime software sales.

@beardednun25 @shadowhunter0 @wcwj26 Here is a source. It is a old article which puts the Wii at 8.2 games per system I would like to note that I've seen new info pegging it at 8.6 so the number is climbing.

A report on the 360 says it has about 8.9 games sold per system in the USA. (Haven't seen world wide numbers like Nintendo provides. Odd are the numbers are a lot lower in Japan for the 360 since it has much lower developer support there.) Sure the 360 has a slightly higher attach rate, but a 10% margin is not incredible.

@shadowhunter0 He is right though, if you have a PC you do get a lot of what is on the 360 and PS3
