On what grounds can you definitely say that the software is smoother than every android phone in the market?  Besides I can make the case that the software is smoother because its so basic.  You can't add multiple widgets to a screen along with a bunch of apps and folders.  You just have a bland layout of apps

Regarding the "better apps" , mind letting me know about these wonderful apps that android is lacking? I have an android phone and an Ipod.  Besides one Heat app that lets me download the Heat's regular season schedule to the calendar, I've yet to see an app that isn't on android.  Or at least doesn't have an equivalent.

Jagged3dge

That still doesn't disprove the notion that it's smoother. Also, apps take months to arrive to android after hitting iOS. You know, such as Vine and instagram. I've yet to see a better email client to replace the average stock client in android such as mailbox for iOS.

I'm willing to sacrifice 0.2 seconds of "smoothness" for a more complete layout.  And yet you still haven't proved that IoS is indeed more proficient than all android builds. Considering you also have to factor in the particular phone's processor and performance.  But I doubt you have definitive evidence of that.  Plus we have these things called Launchers that enable us to go away from the stock android OS that comes on the phone (Nova, ADW, etc).  Got to love flexibility.

Vine and instagram? I don't use those apps so I can't comment on that.  Months seems like an overexaggeration though.  The Apple app store is actually much more restrictive, so while android waits "months" for certain apps as you put it, IoS misses out on a large variety of apps (No musicmaniac app or third party keyboards? lame).  Personally I rather wait than not receive something ever but that's just me.

Now you're just splitting hairs...what's wrong with the stock email client, I've never even considered getting a new one. Are you serious?

Instagram hit iOS in 2011. It was released on Android in April 2012. Vine took months to hit android and Mailbox has yet to go on Android despite being released on iOS a while ago. The stock email client is ugly and minimal and there's not great alternatives in the play store. Android bogs down because OEMs decide to put on horrendous skins such as touchwiz and Sense that slow down the expierence. Thank christ I flashed an AOSP rom to get rid of touchwiz because even @ a quadcore processor, touchwiz still manages to slow down the note 2 on occasion.

[QUOTE="Lief_Ericson"][QUOTE="DroidPhysX"] aljosa pls. I don't see a country challenging them. MAYBE Germany because they're younger.Seabas989

Well seeing how Brazil absolutely tooled them in the Confed Cup I would say theres more than a few countries who can take them out.

Brazil should be the favorites since that slaughter against Spain. However, I still don't see many teams outside of Brazil that can beat them.

haha

[QUOTE="famicommander"]I always root against the US in this event just so people will stop trying to talk to me about soccer sooner. I like (American/Canadian/Arena/college) football, baseball, hockey, basketball, (box/field) lacrosse, boxing, MMA.. Hell, if I'm insanely bored I might even try to watch golf. But soccer is the worst thing in the world. I hate everything about it, from the shin-grabbing floppers they call players to the archaic clock keeping to the ridiculous aggregate scoring and allowance of ties. Getting rid of ties was the best thing the NHL ever did.famicommander

You like all that crap but hate the best sport in the world lol

It's the most boring sport in the world. Low scoring, low contact, not always a winner/loser. It's like hockey without the speed, hitting, fights, or fun.

American Football: Where you play for 60 seconds and take 5 minute breaks.

That's because: A. Brazil had an extra day rest B. Spain was coming off a grueling match w/Italy that lasted 2 hours + penalties

The world has figured out how to play against tiki taka as evidenced by Barcelona's recent fall from grace. And with the recent rise of teams like Argentina, Germany, and Brazil Spain is going to have a hella tough time.

Yeah but Spain has players  that better fit tiki taka.

Why does it matter? Spain will 4peat it. As for the USA, it's more England being weaker than anything else.
