GameStop/EBgames also have free 3-day shipping for the two games.. but it's hard to predict just when you'd get them.

Three days from the street date? Three from the date they arrived in store? Three from the day after street date?

Who knows.

I called the GS by my house and they said nowhere gets them until Sunday. Period. I hate people that speak as if they're omniscient.. but I digress.

It's not working for me.. and I no longer have a GBA, but when I have it in my DS (regular or Lite), it'll go to the GAMEBOY screen.. then have fuzzy lettering below it where it should say NINTENDO.

Then, it doesn't proceed passed that screen.

I'm not looking for a fix for it, but I'm just curious if anybody has tried the GBA AR on the DS and if its worked for them.. or it just doesn't at all.

I, personally, thought it'd work since its just the GBA slot..

Anyway, thanks for any insight.

Actually, more than likely, they got them as early as yesterday.. shipping days tend to be Tuesday or Thursday, more often than not.

So, they're probably sitting on them.. though very few might break street date.

Geist - awesome puzzles, first person action/adventure, good storyline and great gameplay.

Resident Evil 4 - only played the PS2 version, but I'm sure the Cube version is just as good.. but with less extras/stuff.

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance - strategy game, just as great as the handheld version, deep story, a large great cast.

Metroid Prime - another first person action/adventure, one of the best 2D to 3D transitions. EVAR.

Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventure - fun Zelda game with puzzles-a-plenty, level based format, traditional Zelda gameplay, 2D rules all, etc., etc.

LoZ: Twilight Princess - one of the best LoZ titles EVER. Then again, that's coming from someone who thought LttP and OoT were the best.

That's just about all the best titles I've played on the Cube.. the ones that stood out the most. Other recommendations include Super Smash Bros. Melee, the Star Fox titles (they were mediocre, but still good) and Mario Kart DD!! (new spin on MK gaming, but still fun, as ever).

I'd have to go with TMNT (even though I got the PS2 version). I don't understand why so many people bash it for not being like Devil May Cry, or something, and doing off the wall attacks, juggle combos and other crazy moves.

Plain and simple, it's a beat 'em up that's very much like the original Arcade greats that Konami had a hand in producing.. prior to their crappy trilogy on last generation's systems.

The old Turtle games, namely Turtles in Time, was both fun and simple.. you button mashed here and there, jumped a bit and took out bad guy after bad guy until you reached an end o' the stage boss and you did so 7-10 times in a row for each level.

When you do so in a TMNT game that appears on the PS2/GC/Xbox it's like.. automatically terrible; I just don't get it. I thought it was above and beyond what Konami did to (not with) the Turtles recently and, though not beyond it, about on par with what Konami USED to do with the TMNT games.

At its core, TMNT is a very fun, simple and traditional beat 'em up that actually has a lot of unlockable content, extra challenges and replay value.

It's quite simple why these two titles get so much hate.

Why FFIX? It was too much like the 2D classics that appeared on the SNES.. and, as we all know, all FFs before VII were teh toodee and suxxors!

Why FFXII? It had a story that was very hard for most to follow, let alone understand. Plus, the game frequently used a lot of big words.. a no no for many (stupid) gamers.

On top of that, neither one had a cross dressing, spikey haired, blonde guy who was bad ass as he chased (and obsessed after) a pretty male villain! lol

VII and VIII had the most convoluted stories I've ever seen (not interesting, or epic.. just confusing) that made about as much sense as a nickel. Then, X didn't even have a really good story due to boring characters (with only a few memorable ones) and no truly prominent, or good for that matter, villain.

But seriously, it's funny how the FFs that garner the most hate are the ones that I thought to be some of the best RPGs ever.. those being IX and XII. But that's just me; I also thought that every third installment on a given system was the best.. those being VI, IX and XII.

Somehow it tops the first God of War, in my opinion.. although the original will always be amazing.

GoWII is one solid action game that just builds upon the foundations of its predecessor.

Everything is just.. bigger, meaner, darker and more brutal.

The only criticism I have is its a bit short.. and not any longer than the original, but that's certainly not enough to bash the game.. especially with the amazing gameplay it has.

While I no longer have it (got a deal to sell it for $80 bucks used XD) I definitely would have kept it and still played it regularly.

I'd have to go with Haven: Call of the King. I enjoy most 3D Platformers.. but this one was terrible. I literally felt my IQ drop while playing it, lol.

But the animation was terrible, controls were sloppy and the gameplay was just so bland as it focused on too many things at once and failed at them all.

At their current price, I agree.. you'll get more bang for your buck with FFXII.

Wait for a price drop with GoWII and go with XII, for now. It's a pretty lengthy adventure, I've clocked around 180 hours with a few things left to do, while GoWII is around 10-12 hours your first time through.

Ever play any of the Shadow Hearts games?

They're a lot like Chrono Trigger in gameplay.. turn based, characters can join together to form combos, and you don't stay stationary like FFIV through X but actually move around as you do actions (not on your own).

Anyway, it has heavy themes and myths from Japanese culture, I believe, and is a dark story to boot. Great characters, off the wall humor, dark tone, great gameplay and a hell of a great story.

The original Shadow Hearts goes into Shadow Hearts: Covenant, then SH: From the New World is like a side story told with a new cast of characters. Anyway, SH and SH:C are probably the best, with Covenant being the absolute best in series.. though FtNW is nothing to pass up, either.. then again, that's just my opinion.

They're a great trilogy of games, though.. and some of the best RPGs I've ever played.

That's about all I'd be able to recommend along with Rogue Galaxy (action RPG by Level 5, great company), Dragon Quest VII (totally old school RPG also by Level 5 in conjunction with Enix) and Final Fantasy XII (best RPG I've ever played on the PS2).
