Thinking back to when the PS2 launched I was quite excited about the backward compability. But how many PSgames did I really play on it? Zero to none comes close. It's going to be different this time round. I have so many games that I just absolutely adore and I'm very sure I want to play them again (MGS3 and 2, FFX, FFX-2, Killzone, Hitman Bloodmoney etc). Since I won't be able to buy the PS3 at launch I'm gonna use the time until I've saved up my money to watch the development of the new console. Knowing me it won't much matter if I can play PS2 games or not. If I want to play I'll just put my PS2 back on. It isn't that much work after all and I'm not planning on throwing it out anyway...

I agree with Tomb Raider, but what about MGS4? Or FFXIII? Then there also would be a new Killzone and several rather promising new RPGs. All in all, nope your games sure don't fit what I would have chosen...
