Why don't they release this game for the pc? I guess cause then the mods people would make might make the musicians all mad, haha. I played Guitar Hero 2 for the PS2 and it was pretty awesome, mostly because they had some really good bands and songs to play. This Guitar Hero 3 doesen't look promising, and I can bet you will start seeing alot more pop music incorporating crappy sounding guitar solos in their songs so they can ruin the Guitar Hero franchise.

The music in 3 and the bands looked very weak, I hope they add some good metal to the game, but I highly doubt they will. So long as they don't add metallica they'll be fine, Metallica has sunk to new lows that I never thought could be achieved, they are the crybabies of the music world.

My suggestion for people having these problems is to keep the system off the carpet. Carpet cam create static which can damage eletronic componets over time. All the systems I've owned in the past going back to the Sega CD and genesis I always kept under a stand where it was more/less sitting on a shelf. Allowing the system to touch the rug will eventually make the hardware obsolete. Static is a system killer. Also, if you do keep the system in a shelf or not on the carpet, make sure no soft materials cover or come in contact with the unit as well, just keep it uncovered if possible.

Get the 360, believe me. I bought the Wii and I'm regretting it. The 360 has alot more games, better games to play, plus you can buy alot of the games used for even cheaper than the overpriced Wii games that noone wants to sell used, probably cause they are worthless. Nintendo needs to focus on more mature games, and stop making so many kiddy games, if we all wanted to act like children, and play kid games, Atari would still be around making lousy games, well they still around, making lousy games, just like Nintendo. I'm dissappointed in Nintendo, I was hoping for something better than what they've done with the Wii so far.

I bought the Wii mostly for the backwards compatability, but I still need to get online which I haven't yet to get some of the old games. My question is when will the mature rated games, promised by Nintendo start coming out? I already pre-ordered Manhunt 2 which I'm fully expecting that game to get either banned for the Wii or they release a cleaner version, knowing how Nintendo is. How many versions of Mario games does there need to be to keep people satisfied? All I keep seeing being released are Nintendo devoloped games, do they have something against third party devolopers?

Also I was kinda hoping this system would be good for RPG'S like the SNES, yet I see practically none. Cmon, party games are fine and good but I want some survival horror and some action and shooters, I suppose I'll end up buying a 360 if Nintendo fails to deliver on the more mature rated games. Nintendo could have an even bigger fan base/customer base if they would quit producing all these Mario games, most of the time they aren't that great anyways. All I've played so far on my Wii is Tennis, and I love the Tennis with the sports game, but eventually this will become old. Here's hoping Nintendo start letting more third party devolopers make some better games.
