The lack of logic is astounding. The only thing needed to do is cancel the credit card, or get a replacement. The rest of the information the hackers have is absolutely useless in stealing someones identity. Last time I checked Sony didn't ask me for my social security, drivers license # or a copy of my birth certificate. So they have my name, phone #, address, zip code and e-mail. Wow, I'm really scared of them having that information that anyone could get in a phone book or facebook.
@HT89488 I was referring to the author of the article. And no, no way can they know what the hacker accomplished the very day they figured out there was a problem. Not when the hacker was not only sophisticated, but apparently covered his tracks.
You are really going to attack Sony because of the amount of time between updates? Do you have any idea how hard it would be and how long it would take to figure out what a skilled hacker accomplished on their system? Please know what your talking about before you attack Sony for "waiting" a week. Funny thing about all this is that Sony could have just pretended this never happened. Think about it for a second. Right now, the only reason we even know our data has been compromised is because Sony told us it was. They could have easily covered this up somehow.
Shadow of the Colossus had an amazing storyline. The secret to that game was the the story was told in the landscape and not in cutscenes. At first glance when you play you see the storyline is fairly simple. But you travel around the lands and you see these ruins, ancient symbols, temples, shrines, etc. You can't help but wonder who used to live in these lands, and what happened to them.
