I can't remember the last time I laughed this much at a game's writing. My cop is such a colossal ****-up of a human being, and it's painfully obvious to everyone around him.

Having said that, it's equal parts comedy and tragedy. Some of your inner thoughts are *bleak*.

Same here. Some of the stuff is hilarious. I love the way your 'skills' form the basis of your inner monologue. It's an incredibly unique game that I think I'll have to play through a few times.

I love how if you fail checks, he just goes into fight or flight mode. Some of the ensuing dialogue or actions is just hilarious. This, honestly, might be my GOTY.

Yep, the BC swayed me!

I'll say that certain titles are worth it... Though hopefully with upgrades. Bloodborne needs a terrible fix for frame-timing.

That's what I've heard. Hoping that the PS5 hardware allows for a bit more fps stability? We'll see, but I do remain hopeful.

The PS5 to complement my PC. I have all of the PS4 exclusives to go through since I didn't get a console this gen, so it seems like it might be worth it to actually pick this one up.

Last-gen BC to tide you over to an influx of current-gen titles... Nice move. I fall into the hype far too much, though I always revolve around my PC.

Yep, the BC swayed me!

@mrbojangles25: That's how I feel, which is why I wish some of those PS4 exclusives would just come to PC. If a game comes out only on PC that's good, then by all means, port it to the consoles so more people can play it. As long as the PC version is not compromised, do it just so more people can experience it. It's art; the more people exposed, the better.

Yeah, made by those Rambo devs... Knew it was gonna suck, and it absolutely does.

1:45 into it and I've got questions.

So, is that a lightsaber the protagonist is using, or just a light stick? Because he's hitting those scout troopers at the right angle to be removing limbs or severing torsos, but he's just knocking them down like its a light-up stick.

As decent as this looks, that's pretty immersion breaking. Even in Jedi Outcast II you could cut people in half (from what I recall) and their only limitation was technology. I'm guessing this is rated E-10/T because it wouldn't have made money any other way?

I agree with this. The fact that no limbs are being sliced off is pretty disappointing, especially after the Jedi Knight games did it years upon years ago.

@DragonfireXZ95: Respawn wanted to go with Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice gameplay style then Dark Souls from what I read so far. I don't expect this game to be ground breaking but an experience just for SP Star War action adventure, similar to Force Unleashed.

I find that hard to believe considering how slow the character moves. :P

It doesn't look bad, but the whole campfire copy system from Dark Souls just doesn't fit here. Enemies respawn when sitting at meditation points? In Dark Souls, it made sense because it was this strange fantasy world with bizarre turns of events, but Star Wars has always had some foothold in a more real sense. When people die, they tend to die forever. That being said, it looks decent; better than I thought it would turn out, actually.
