Looking forward to getting my hands on this, but we have to wait another week in Australia.

That certainly brought back some memories. I still remember waiting for games to load on the tape drive of the Commodore 64 and the little hand held games that were just one game like Donkey Kong. Have seen some great games over the years across many different platforms. I remember hearing my older brother scream out when we picked up the home phone as it disconnected his dial-up connection for his online gaming. Lost many a nights sleep playing Civilization and Starcraft on my PC. Had many great gaming sessions on consoles with mates where you actually had to be in the same room to play together.

Being a parent of two little boys I don't get much free time to play games but find it amazing to see my boys play games and how quickly they pick them up, whether it be swiping on a tablet/phone or using a controller. I remember when one turned 5 we gave him a CD player and made up a CD of his favourites songs from his Mums phone. He looked pretty happy but when he pulled the CD out of its case he said "what's this?". They missed many generations of gaming, but I'm sure there will plenty more they will get to see develop in the years to come.

I reckon the Skylander series has that cake, up to the 4th game in 3 years around 200+ figurines across the games including variants. That's thousands of dollars all up.

That said, my two boys didn't think much of the first Disney Infinity and that includes me buying another play set and multi figure pack.

@shadow580 @spartanx169x @borkgordon @Nightflash28 Thanks for your multiplayer tips, much appreciated. I think my original comment got buried under all the others as couldn't view it on my phone.

Thanks @dexter-404 , I ended up getting a bundle with both those games as digital downloads, it also came with Dead Rising 3 and Battlefield 4 all for the standard price with the Kinect which I thought was a pretty good deal.

While I'm not very good at it, I enjoy Titanfall. This is the first time I've played online multiplayer, mostly due to poor internet in the past, so it's taking some getting used to not getting killed so much. I think my early Kill to Death was as bad as 0.2 but is up to about 0.6 now.

@Kazuma-83

I didn't this reply. Why the confusion? I'm married and sometimes it's better to run significant purchases past your other half.

I'm getting back into some gaming after buying an xbox one last week and need some games. This game looks pretty awesome so I pre ordered it yesterday.

Hmm, to buy this game on my existing Xbox 360 or to splurge on an Xbox one, that is the question.

@solitas777 Just wondering if you go to school or work, who on earth has time to play 3 consoles and a PC?
