It wouldn't be a problem for PS5... hopefully, PS5 has atleast 64 ROPS and unified 4MB L2 cache tile rendering.
It's strange to have separate TMU and ROPS when both are scatter/gather read/write units. ROPS has the fix function math operations... I wonder if TMUs can assimilate ROPS functions.

Benefit of not posting a lot is I get to react to news in waves and not continuous drops. Last time I was active there was some noise about the new Xbox and sea of thieves, crackdown..
Those came and went rather anticlimactically. All that talk of more power etc cracked open and got washed away into the sea
One thing that remains constant and that is PS4's utter DOMINANCE this gen. Not by power alone but by great transcendent content. Much like the PS2. Bravo Sony
