Oh right because bad boring games in 1080p doesn't make them bad or boring anymore. -_-

^ He's speaking on the maturity level of those gamers that prioritize visuals above everything else...like having fun.

Who cares! Are the games fun? That's what I want to know...

Short answer: YES, wait.

Long answer: Unless you absolutely love or are ballin enough to spend $60 per game for the next year and some change then you're better off just waiting for a price drop on the games and consoles.

In the mean time you can finish whatever retail and digital titles you've yet to play or even buy yet. This generation has an extensive library to explore and at this rate may never be able to go back to after PS3/360 support ends (NO, the streaming service will more than likely not have EVERY game that you bought or ever wanted to buy).

Also for Sony customers, PS+' value on the PS4 won't immediately match the quality you've been used to for the past couple of years. Think about it, its mandatory in order to play online and it will probably be quite awhile before Sony starts giving away AAA titles even on a monthly basis. They have to first break even and make a profit...they can't do this in the beginning by giving high in demand games away for free. It's smarter to just sit back, continue to get your PS3/Vita deals while they last and collect any PS4 game deals that are made available in the mean time via the playstation store website.

This way, you'll get the PS4 for less, its games for less, get more for your PS+ subscription, and potentially have free/discounted games waiting for you in your download queue as soon as you boot your console up.

@WICGuardian

See and not every gamer is demanding online. Myself, for example, rarely plays online when its a component. I do play a few online only games but my single player experiences totally out weighs that.

Why the heck are we talking about DLC when the base game isn't even out yet?! Why they couldn't just add this to the base game....greed! Wait at least 6 months after the game's release to talk about DLC and not insult our intelligence with garbage like this!

Not this American. I actually like to see whatever else isn't playing. I've found so many overlooked gems by doing so.

@Iffy350

In addition to the multiplayer COMPONENT being a seperate game of its own...multiplayer is just a feature as the actual single player campaign is the game itself. Based entirely on the core game, yes, it is possible for it to get a 10 out of 10 without an active online multiplayer.
