Have already tried updating the drivers. Will try safe mode and other suggestions soon - haven't had too much time. Thanks again for everyone's effort to help me.

How do I change these audio panel settings? Walk me through it please. Also don't know how to update my sound drivers either, so that'd help to. No matter which program I use that plays music (itunes, spotify, etc), some songs will skip completely randomly and I cannot figure out how to fix it. It's gotten completely infuriating and I need to fix this. Please help me out someone. Also, it's a Lenovo Y570 if that matters.
