I was playing games on the 360 with no problems for 2 years. But last week when I turned it on to play, suddenly there was no video, only audio. I checked all the connections, and no one touched or changed anything between the time it worked and the time it didn't. At first, I thought maybe the 360 was the problem. So I got the Wii from the other room and tried to hook it up to the same tv the 360 was hooked up to, and encountered the same problem: audio but no video. I am inclined to think it is not the tv, because other accessories hooked up to it, such as a dvd problem, work fine, and cable tv also. I am using a router box so I can hook up more accessories to the tv, but I was told by someone else who is helping with the problem that he thinks it can't be the box.

What on earth is going on? I can't bear to be without my games much longer, especially with the releases coming out this month. But I have no idea how to resolve this problem. Anybody else have this problem and resolve it, or know what it is?

Thanks.

You have two games missing from Gamespot listings. They were both released September 4, 2007, and the developer is Phantom Efx (you have many other Phantom Efx games so I think you will want to list these also).

Reel Deal Casino Gold Rush. Website with description and screenshots: http://www.phantomefx.com/gold_rush.asp

Reel Deal Slots Ghost Town. Website with description and screenshots: http://www.phantomefx.com/ghost_town.asp

Please add these to the site so I can add them to my collection, my now playing, and write reviews for both of them. Thanks.

How do I contact Gamespot to advise them about games that are missing from the site? A couple of games just came out this week that are not on the site, and I really want to write reviews for them. Gamespot has other games by the same developer but not these new ones. So how do I let Gamespot know about them so they can hopefully add them to the site?

I like immediate gratification so I'm looking at the remainder of 2007 primarily...

I would have voted for Xbox360 if it was an option, but since it isn't I voted for Wii. The only games coming out for the PS3 I'm interested in are Heavenly Sword, Haze, and Uncharted. For the Wii theres Metroid Corruption, Super Mario Galaxy, Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 (which I am looking forward to tremendously) and Trauma Center 2. I am more excited about the Wii lineup. I'll buy the PS3 so I can play those 3 games I mentioned, but I'll wait until December because I'll need a couple months to play the other games for other systems I want to play more.

That's almost a year ago, and the system has been out almost 2 years. A price drop after 2 years isn't bad.

Look at the PS3 owners... less than a year after launch day and there's an even bigger price drop. What's worse, hardly any games have come out during that time! That really was a slap in the face. But you knew it had already been out a year when you got yours and that a price drop could reasonably be coming in that time frame, and then you enjoyed almost ayear's worth of great games. I don't think it's reasonable of you to complain.

Yep, whether people want to admit it or not the 2007 lineup for the PS3 is terrible. That's exactly why I'm picking up my PS3 in December and not a moment sooner. Hopefully 08 will be better, and at least by December I'll be able to play Heavenly Sword and Haze.

I love all the systems but I hate to break it to fanboys: The xbox 360 and PC pwned the other systems as far as game releases in 07. We'll see what happens in 08 but in 07 the other systems have been expensive paperweights. The Wii had a few more games than the PS3 but not many.

Considering how way underrated Enchanted Arms was in my opinion, I am not wavering from my preorder for Blue Dragon due to this or any other review. But from what I've seen most of the gaming sites seem to have some kind of bias against traditional Japanese RPGs. They want them all to be real time like Oblivion.

I really think it is too. I bought a Wii at launch and I'm really disappointed. I think once the novelty wears off of the motion sensor controller, and people get tired of the non-HD graphics (as more people buy HDtvs), and when people get tired of the trickle of 3rd party support being released the momentum of the Wii will come to a screeching halt.

I am not anti-Nintendo. I stood in line to get it at launch. I also have a DS Lite. But they really are alienating their loyal fans, the hardcore gamers who've supported them system after system, in order to go after "non traditional gamers" and "casual gamers". The type of people who are less likely to care about next gen graphics or have HDtvs. The people less likely to care about the number of games released because they don't play as much or buy as many to begin with. The people who like the type of casual games that are primarily being released for the system. I am really turned off by this. This is the thanks the loyal customers get.

There have been a few excellent games for the Wii, like Rayman Raving Rabbids and Trauma Center, and for that reason I don't regret buying it. But great releases are few and far between, and most of them are first party. Plus, the graphics are a turn off, so a game better be really great if I'm going to tolerate the graphics. So 99% of my gaming time my Wii collects dust.

Haze, and not because of the game itself which looks really good (and the fact that it's Ubisoft means a lot). It will hurt that it's a PS3 exclusive. They would have sold a lot more copies if it were multiplatform or on a console more people have, like the 360. There just aren't enough people who own PS3s right now.

I don't know why anyone would think Assassins Creed would flop. The game looks SICK (the good definition of sick...) I am looking forward to that more than any of the other games on the list.

Some people will lose interest in GTAIV due to the delay. Some people will be mad about the delay and won't get it because of that, also. However, the series has such a huge following that there are enough people that will wait for it and buy it to make up for the percentage the delay will affect sales.

Bored with the 360? I'm not. There are so many great games coming out I can't even find time to play them all. I've had mine since launch and played almost every day since then, without boredom. And shooters are not even my favorite genre. There are plenty of other games out there.

The PS3 doesn't have the games. That makes the PS3, at the moment, a really expensive paperweight. I'm not a fanboy, and I plan on picking up the PS3 by years end (by then they will finally at least have A COUPLE of games I'd want to play). But I don't feel any games right now give me any kind of compelling urge to buy it NOW whatsoever.

As for backwards compatibility, I couldn't care less. The minute the 360 was released I said R.I.P to all my older gen games and consoles. Why anyone would want to settle for less graphics-wise or gameplay-wise now that next gen is here is beyond me.

I agree about the Wii. They are going to need a lot more third party support if they don't want to turn into Gamecube 2. They've had a couple of standout titles like Rayman Raving Rabbids and Trauma Center but for the most part my Wii is collecting dust. And the lack of HD graphics is a huge turnoff - what on earth were they thinking?
