@Serpent In the Staglands (SitS) is a Kickstarted old-school RPG set in a gritty Transylvanian world inspired by Darklands. The game mechanics itself nods to Fallout (open world, class-less character progression) and Baldur's Gate (party based, Real-time with pause combat).

The game was released on 28 May without much fanfare. It was developed by Whalenought, which is basically a couple who managed to bring out an impressive game in around 2 years of development time.

So why should you care? Precisely for that reason: SitS is a labour of love; a throwback to hard-core, old-school RPGs where exploring an open world in your manner is at the forefront. Its a hard game, so no hand holding here!
