@boxrekt: you are being delusional. I have a Pro and PCs. There is NO game on PS4 that looks as good as Some of the PC games. You can’t just say fact and make it fact. Lol I get it though...PC isn’t for everyone and especially start up costs of building a high end rig. Also you are failing to mention settings in game where most multiplat games are set with mainly medium and some low settings while I can crank mine up to ultra.
Back on PS2 era, PCs were still the ultimate gaming machine.
And every respectable gamer had powerful gaming PC. Even those that had PS2 or Gamecube.
(I had both of those consoles, yet did most gaming on PC.)
On 360/PS3 era, consoles became equals to PCs. You no longer needed PC, as your 360 could run all those big games such as Oblivion and GTAIV totally fine (and with less crashes!).
And on this era, consoles became better than PCs. Way better.
So, consoles have finally become the ultimate gaming machines, and gaming PCs have become niche, a dying species.
Even serious, competitive gamers rather play Fortnite and like on PS4 than on their laptop!
So. consoles won the long war. This is a fact, and there is no point arguing it, PC fans. It is a fact.

Back in the day, when consoles were still weak and had no hard drives, could you ever imagine that one day consoles would be better and more powerful gaming machines than PCs?? More affordable too!
Because I did not see it coming. I thought consoles might one day be equal to PCs, but I'd never had guessed they could totally trounce gaming PCs in so definite manner as they have done this gen.
You literally just say that consoles have become way better than PCs and say it is fact which makes you look dumb but provide no evidence. This is a trolling post just to get PC gamers upset. You also say consoles as being more powerful...they will never be more powerful than top of the line PCs as the consoles use PC vendors to manufacture parts for their consoles. Tell me when a console could come close to either one of my PCs. Maybe a couple gens from now.

Um...no you couldn't. You know nothing about PCs if you are saying this. For the price of buying a PS5 AND Xbox, you could have a PC that could outperform them.
My basement renovation is near complete. The carpet installation started today!!! I can’t wait to share what this ridiculous gaming setup looks like. It won’t be “done” for a bit because my custom arcade cabinets haven’t been started yet, but there will be 2, 55” 4K HDR tv’s in one room with a Xbox One X, PS4 Pro and Nintendo Switch hooked to each, and a home theater room with a 85” 4K HDR TV, 5.1.2 surround sound Dolby Atmos setup and a Xbox One X and PS4 Pro hooked up as well. My home office is near done too. There I have 2, 27” 1440p monitors hooked to a custom build running a 2080Ti and a Ryzen 7 2700X. New CPU coming next month of course.

I would love to show off my setup as well, but going under some crazy remodeling in my entire house as well with a lot of custom woodwork throughout. Will be done soon as well. I also want to upgrade to an atmos system but just won't make the plunge as we barely use our media room as it is. But my other hobby....my cars take up a lot more money than this does.
PC can have the best graphics, if you have an adequately powerful rig (which most don't). I know hermits love to claim that it's a hard rule, but it ain't :)
This makes complete sense. It's not for the TV per se but for the PSVR headset which already runs at 120hz. So if the next gen headset if 4k at 120hz. It would make sense for the console to support it for the TV. I don't think that they will have much to run at those levels.
4k/120hz makes sense because I think it's considered that it will be common enough during the console's lifespan and it would be interesting if this tandems to mid-gen refreshes.

Oh come on. It's like movies as, you jump in day 1 to be part of the conversation. You can go see a movie opening weekend, wait for it to hit the cheap theaters, wait a few more months for Netflix/bluray/digital or a couple years for it to hit free network TV. It's not dumb to jump in day 1 just like it's not dumb to wait for the more "economic" option.
And we're talking about $20-$30 here. Nobody values that amount of money more than gamers. Y'all are some of the cheapest s.o.b's on the planet. The entertainment to cost ratio is better than almost anything else on the planet, and yet here we are calling a $60 for 20-30 hours of entertainment a joke. Don't go to a bar, sporting event, concert, or especially a strip club with that mentality. If $60 for 30 hours is bad, I would love to see how you would react to $200 for 5 minutes...
It is insane. I literally see people bitching on GS over $5 because they bought a game last week and it is $5 cheaper this week.
Doesn't matter. AMD's CPU and GPU's are shit on PC that cause more troubles than fun, will perform even worse in consoles - underclocked because of cooling and power consumption...
