They would, but sometimes don't cause the hangup takes to long so fraps stops recording. I don't see an option to turn down loseless RGB. There's only an option force loseless RGB capture, but I do not have that enabled,

@JigglyWiggly_: Yeah, I just want to see if I can resolve the hangup issue. I'm unsure what's causing it since most of the movie seems smooth and stable, but every once in awhile the entire game hangs for a good 10s sometimes fraps stops recording. Do you think it's a writing speed issue? Although shouldn't a 7200 RPM do fine with fraps?

@JigglyWiggly_: I know about shadowplay, but I don't like the recording quality there's not really any settings to change that. I don't find the recording quality suitable for encoding later in Premiere. So files simular to fraps are preferable.

I haven't encountered any errors, it loads just like a normal HDD I haven't noticed any speed issues, because its a fairly new HDD i bought it like a few months ago, I also recently did a defrag on it, but it didn't help.

I have an issue with Fraps. When I'm trying to record various games, Fraps is having random hangups while the gameplay recording is very smooth at 60FPS or 30FPS however you wanna record it. I usually pick 30, because youtube caps at 30 fps. Further more after a few minutes recording I get a slightly longer hangup and fraps stops recording after that. I've tried various methods and none seem to be working I've uninstalled codecs, disabled windows search indexing. But don't seem to work. I've also tried recording at a lower resolution which is 1600x900, but it doesn't seem to matter I still get random hangups.

My PC should be more of capable running fraps. And asside ofthe hangups the fraps recording is smooth and no stutter at all.

Info on my PC:

i5 2500k

8GB RAM DDR3

GPU 670GTX nVidia

C:\ (For OS, some applications and games)

D:\ (Other Games HDD)

E:\ (fraps HDD) WD 7200 RPM and 600GB

I'm currently using Fraps v3.5.99

So I have my Fraped videos saved to E:\ and my OS/Some games are running from C:\. Currently I have Fraps installed on C:\ I tried installed it on another HDD, but it didn't take away the hangups issue so went back to C:\ for now.

Any help would be much appreciated, because the game hang ups are really annoying, thanks in advance :)

Hi. I am looking for a good functional hi-tower case with a good airflow and good amount of space for cables etc. Currently I have Antec 900, however I am planning on getting corsair h100i and I feel my case is a little on the cramp side. So I'm looking for a cse with a good airflow and fuctionality > looks.

Thanks in advance :)
