Well pleased with the game, and as a long time player of the franchise, glitches/crashes are just something I call, "Bethesda!". But they now include the auto saves, which is a great improvement over the Morrowind days.
The world looks good. Dungeons now are unique (not simple clones like in Oblivion). But what I really like is the sense of adventure this franchise offers -- total freedom to not even play the storyline, even (my favorite game of all time IS Deus Ex, so what do you expect???). Love just romping around on my horse, travel up cliffs and mountains and enjoying the scenery below. This time the scenery really looks life-like, right down to the lighting from dawn, midday, dusk. Finally, feel like an explorer and not feel rushed to some linear end. Will get there on my time, not forced there.
The classless talent system also is amazing. Play EQ2 and have always associated a RPG by the vastness of options. The options are good, and now can make a paladin like character to blend the best of all these MMOs into one paladin like class. So thrilled by not being locked down by class limitations -- you can heal like a true healer in plate, even.
There's minor annoyances here and there, but overall I rate it as the best game I purchased in 2 years at least, and sure getting my money's worth. Pleasantly pleased. Skyrim will remain on my computer, definitely.
