Pearl Jam's new album, Backspacer, is amazing. The songs are great and full of energy.

[QUOTE="Dethshoot"]Average band.. I can't believe I have to sit through them when I go see Trivium in March.Bauers-Twin
hahaha Trivium! what a joke! Coheed guy's voice is unique and Coheed is basically inspired by Iron Maiden although with an obvious difference at singer. And who cares wat they call themselves? they rock.

Uhh, Coheed inspired by Iron Maiden? Wha?

eh, ok but i still love them NO homo even though everyone says his voice sounds like a girl.. it doesnt i think his voice is unique and goes well with the band. thats my opinion anywaysElimin8er_93
But his voice isn't unique. It sounds like a bad Geddy Lee copy. I find it strange that they call themselves progressive; there is almost nothing progressive or complex about their music. Apparently they've never been fans of Rush either, which is weird since they want to be a progressive band.. There are far better bands today with the high voice thing if that's what you like.. just look at Three.

They're commercial rock and embrace it. Many of their songs sound the same.

Tommy Rogers of Between The Buried and Me. Sure most of the time he's doing death metal vocals but during the interludes in songs where it goes clean he can get really high.

See Mordecai and Backwards Marathon. Its at the end of the clean part in Mordecai I think that he hits one of the highest notes Ive ever heard in vocals.

Nickelback selling out? What? They're as mainstream as a band can get. They've always been that way.
