Not bad for 10 days, to be honest, but yeah, the character that was shown does look kind of ugly. What impresses me is the fact that the details are texture-based instead of shaders and HDR lighting, which almost every other game use these days.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl and a demo of the Hell in Vietnam (hated it and removed it from my hard drive).

Are your graphics drivers up to date? If not, I probably suggest doing so.

The game that have an excellent story, to me, is Final Fantasy 7. There are other games with good stories like Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Fable to name a few but Final Fantasy 7 still ranks the top, in my opinion.

Hmm. I'm not so sure myself. I might go for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War and Age of Empires 3 as some of the good ones I've played. :)

Whoever is making the next KOTOR , I think it will probably be Obsidian Entertainment (highest guess), no doubt about it. I may not be a KOTOR fan (though I like them) but in my opinion, I'd say give Obsidian another chance. They did, after all, improved the core gameplay and made KOTOR 2 more solid compared to its predecessor and gave it an interesting story, though the ending is a total letdown.

Obsidian have the potential to make a great game but due to pressure from Lucasarts, they kinda messed up the game and it was released incomplete. Eventually, I think Lucasarts learnt of their mistakes and gave more time to the development of Star Wars Republic Commando when it was demonstrated in E3 back in 2003. When it was released in March 2005, it was a success. Later, in 2006, Empire at War was released and was a great success as well. By these successes, I doubt that Lucasarts will repeat that same mistake they made to KOTOR 2.
