Gamestop/EB is not a large retailer. Infact they are very small compared to Wal-Mart, Shopko, and Target. Those big retail chains will get the highest alocations of units. Gamestop/EB only gets a small amount due to their size.
Seeing as I don't have an EB of Gamestop near me I doubt I'll preorder the system. I don't know if I'll even have the money to buy one until after I move next year.
SRPG battle system (as if anyone didn't expect me to say that). SRPG systems (especially Disgaea) can be incredibly deep and normally require a lot of attention to detail and planning. You have to try to predict how the other team will react to you and plan accordingly. Its like a deadly game of chess.

Yes HDTVs are worth it simply for the fact that they are the future. Go to your local Best Buy or other big electronics store and look at the HDTVs they have set up and (usually) configured to show things in the best possible quality. The differance between SDTV (480p) and even low-end HD (720p) its very noticible on the righ TV with the right settings. The differance isn't as much as going from black and white to color, as some would lead you to belive, but its still a very big change. Also try playing some games in 1080i, you will deffinetly see the differance. Also don't judge off of upscaled DVDs (as you mentioned in your post) not all movies upscale perfectly.

As of right now the Wii will have the strongest SE support. You cannot deny that. DQ9 hasn't been 100% confirmed. Well it's arrival to the Wii is inevitable, really. DQ's style perfectly fits the Wii and its capabilities. It all depends on what SE wants to do and if they let Level 5 do the next DQ game what Level 5 wants to do. It really would be based on how well Dragon Quest: Rocket Slime (DS) and Dragon Quest Swords (Wii) sell. If they sell well, then expect DQ9 on the Wii. I wish DQ Swords was a US launch title. Yeah so do I, but I still need to finish Dragon Quest 8 :lol: Yeah same here. EM and Prey drew me away from it. I got tired of mass leveling up anyway. I just bought DQ:8, but I haven't had anytime to play it....Hmmm. Enchanted Arms looks good. I want to play it...I also want Metroid Prime 3.... Rent EM. I don't have a 360 ATM, it died in July....I might get one [360] in November though. If it weren't for Gears of War and Mass Effect, I would never lay eyes on the 360. I just have my eyes set on the Wii right now...which looks really impressive. ...are you playing FEAR tomorrow in the GUFU tournament? I don't even own FEAR.
