I have played every Sim City. Before last years Sim City, I thought the very first Sim CIty was the worst. Every Sim City thereafter, was better than the one before it. Sim CIty 4 blew me away. Sadly, the current Sim City let me down. Not because of the online issues debacle, that's something most games have been or are going through. No, that's not why. Instead, it's the idea of limited land to build on and the ridiculous notion that you can't connect to other cities if they were not connected with a highway , a body of water or by rail. Also, the resources that must be extracted to develop an economy which is an excellent concept, yet resources don't last very long and soon you find yourself bankrupt with no way of making enough simoleons to survive. Offering services like police coverage and supplying electricity for other cities pays you pennies compared tot he expenses of running the city. Don't get me started on the stupid wonders that take up most of you're resources amd time to build which lead to bankruptcy faster. I regret spending $60 on this game.
