Somehow before I played this game I had no idea who sam lake was, only played the first Alan Wake game and none of the other Remedy games. This synopsis perfectly encapsulates what I imagined the dev team was trying to pull off.
Finding out Alex Casey was played by one of the top people at Remedy made this whole sequence even more ridiculous. Good for Sam Lake, super impressed with his ability to execute his vision!
@Life-is-a-Game: I thought it was fine but I didn't feel compelled to explore the same way I did with Breath of the Wild. That part kind of ruined it for me. Not to mention again the main dungeons being super quick and easy.
This game has likely spoiled me with writing and voice acting for the next 10 years... I can only hope more games come close to being on this level, just phenomenal all around.
@stickemup: 100% just increasing their profit margin by making people essentially have to purchase the 512gb version. You can get a 512GB SSD for like $24. How that translates to a $150 difference between two sets of hardware is beyond me.
