I don't trust EA anymore, to be honest. They will definitely try to import their successful 'FUT' formula within the game, which will be intrusive and uncalled for.
Imagine spending hundreds of bucks in pursuit of the 'Undertaker' card (e.g. Lionel Messi or Christiano Ronaldo in FiFA), which is a given character in any and every WWE game till date.
This will suck royally. I am no fan of the recent games, but EA is just micro transaction evil.
Basically this list contains every Marvel game available for current and immediate legacy consoles and PCs apart from maybe a few very obscure ones. I knew the title was misleading when they added the Avengers game in the list.
EA did nothing good with the Harry Potter license. Each and every game (apart from the first few) got worse than the one before. Order of Phoenix was a decent game with an almost believable replication of Hogwarts, but the movements were clunky and the story mode wasn't that great. The next few games were just forgettable, and they deviated so much from the movies/books that they ended up staying interesting.
In my opinion, the best HP game so far is the LEGO HP games. I am glad EA did not pursue the MMO--it would have killed any interest whatsoever for a HP game.
Even basic attacks will be determined by cards? This game seems more like a 'gacha' game than an actual tactical RPG like XCOM2.
I don't know why they are making such a lame game out of such an expensive/valuable IP.
Also, knowing Firaxis, there will be numerous bugs in the game which will make the experience even worse for slightly older platforms like PS4 or Xbox One.
@MigGui:Well, I believe the series on Disney plus are somewhat 'Expanded MCU'. Whenever there's a discussion about MCU, we really don't expect to see plot items mentioned from the series which still have (comparatively) much lower reach, as Disney plus is only available to specific regions.
However, technically, I can't complain as disney plus content is indeed "MCU". But it's not 'that obvious', and that is precisely the point I tried to make.
This post should have a spoiler warning. I didn't see any of the Disney series yet, so couple of things got spoiled for me.
Secondly, number 12 is laughable, because Dr. Strange himself clarified this later---if he spoke about what he saw, it will not happen. So the least he could do was stay cryptic.
I think WWE over expanded in recent years. Thanks to a lack of legitimate competition, they could and they did hire a lot more than they needed, which created chaos and confusion. Even among these 80 wrestlers, I couldn't recognize half the people, and I don't care that much about the other half.
Except for 5-10 names, the rest are not really relevant.
I bought WWE 2k19 , and till date, I haven't used all the wrestlers simply because I never connected with those people as an audience member. I hope WWE 2k22 will be a better and a more streamlined game with less wrestlers but a lot of variety in gameplay.
