Well, the author hates the video games, and he is part of the creative team for the Netflix series, so no wonder they are taking every effort to tilt the series away from the image of Geralt created by the video games.
In my opinion, it's a stupid move, because millions of people across the worlds knows about The Witcher not because of the books, but because of the brilliant video game adaptations. The showrunners should have tried to stick close to the games; at least casting wise.
This is just another Zynga story. Hoping too much from simple point and click games that has zero replay value and shabby production values.
They had it coming for a long while. I have 2/3 games sitting on my PS4 that I got free as part of PS plus, but even after downloading them, I didn't even bother to load them for once.
@Warlord_Irochi: I was being a bit sarcastic, but year after year, they are just repackaging the game--you must agree to this. When was the last time you found something of a "wow" factor in a new AC game, other than the change in historical setting?
It is as if they are reskinning the game over and over.
Why is there so many Assassin's Creed games? I don't find them interesting, and I am sure many other don't, either. They just got committed to the franchise, and the find doing the same things in different countries (within the game) makes them happy.
I played the demo, and I liked it better than FIfa 18, and I am quite sure that I will have similar feelings with Fifa 19 demo as well.
But still, if I want to get a football game this year, chances are high that I will be getting Fifa again. Why? The answer simply is that PES lost the battle years ago. The first PES game I played was PES 3, and the only thing that I hated was not being able to take control of my favorite team and players. Gameplay was awesome and realistic. That was 15 years ago, and I still share the same opinion--Fifa will keep winning as long as they hold all the licenses.
