I thought Geralt had a sickly posture. He was almost always in a bad shape; thanks to lifelong intakes of potions and battle bruises. Not sure why Cavill needs to get buffed up.

I have been reading the books lately, so I will also watch the series. But that depends a lot on the first few episodes. Not liking the casting, truly.

This is why PC gaming is dying a slow death.

While it is quite normal to be able to afford 100 gigs of free space on a PS4, it is nearly impossible/unrealistic to have that much free space dedicated for gaming on a PC or a laptop.

And I am sure most of that 100 gig is dedicated to cutscenes.....

They tried to include all kinds of games, but surprisingly, I do not see Candy Crush or Subway Surfer in the list.

Gamespot's reporting standards have really gone down the drain.

Anyone who starts playing this game with the thought that it's a) GTA V with horses and a western setting and b) It's a shooter where there will be less talk and more action is naturally going to be utterly disappointed with the game.

It has a steep learning curve and a slower pace. The missions rely a lot on narratives, and simply getting in to them with guns blazing won't do you any good. Also, the game often takes an RPG like approach; forcing you to eat, interact with people, take care of your ride, and allows you to customize your weapons, attire and many other stuff.

Thus, I assume people who found this game boring are actually Call of Duty players. I wonder why they bought the game in the first place.

I am taking the game slowly, enjoying every ride and cherishing every mission. I spent 2 hours playing the poker game and enjoyed every minute of it. There's just too many things to do in game. I haven't had this much fun in a long while--the last time I had this kind of fun was when I played Witcher 3.

Sadly, none of these ports are adding anything to the experience.

We will be playing these games on high resolution supported TV screens, and yet, they can't make the games run on full screen--this is the biggest joke with all thee emulation efforts.

@restatbonfire: Nah, not really. I'd rather think Hugo Weaving would look better

@Brettsky128: He will sound like Cavill. Expect a monotonous, elderly voice.

@gleencross: I just finished reading the first book, so I don't claim myself to be an expert in that ground, but yeah, it does seem the game(s) tried to stick closer to the source material as long as it made sense for a video game. For example, Geralt has a lot of conversations with some characters, but putting all that talk in a game doesn't make sense. He would debate a lot before accepting a job, which makes sense in a book, but even the money negotiations (witcher 3) made little sense to the gamers. This much deviation should be normal, and I am not sure why author whines about turning Geralt in to a mindless killing machine!
