Wish they made a proper Captain America game for the current generation.
Still the best Avengers game:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Captain_America_and_The_AvengersYeah, an arcade game released in 1991 seems more fun than this messed up money grab.
That's why one should never fight with a huge business entity like Apple. Whatever deal everyone else is agreeing with, EPIC should've agreed with it, too.
They are nowhere near to Apple's business, nor can they survive to stay afloat on their own. If this fight goes south, they may end up with the sole PC platform, as console makers are also indebted to Apple in one way or another.
I am very skeptical about this new trend of re-reviewing older games, years after their release. You can write an article on the new updates, but writing a new review is kind of funny. The right thing to do is to review a game at its launch state--and that is what tells the real story.
But still, if this is the current trend and you must do it, then why don't you re-review each and every game that received post-launch free content, patches and fixes that dramatically improved them?
The games I want are still way too much expensive. Hope they drop more.
Eventually, he will be made available for all systems, and PC version will get a mod that unlocks/adds him anyway. Spiderman is a character who doesn't really go too well in a squad based game, his style is more suited for soloing. We've seen the same thing in Marvel Ultimate Alliance, and a number of other, similar games, and it will be the same for this game, too.
Nice article. I loved the movie when it first came out, and I still love it. Though MK did it a lot better, but this one wasn't too bad either.
@davillain-: If they did pull that off, I'd say they are very clever. Such exploits may be unethical, but they totally fall within the legal boundaries.
I wonder why they opt to give away sports titles that only appeal to a particular segment of people. Basketball is not popular in many countries. Remember when they decided to add PES and people made a huge issue out of it? But now there won't be that much hue and cry because "teh 'mericans" play this sport and likes the NBA franchise. But to me, it's just another game that will be in my library but won't get any play time.
Tomb Raider is a great choice. I held myself back from buying the game even when it went under a 10 dollar price, and hence I am glad to get it.
But this has been the trend for months. Either they giveaway a immensely popular game that I already own, or they give away titles that are meant for a very specific segment of people.
I think PS Plus should change the model. They should offer at least 10 free games per month, and give the user an option to choose one or two games of his own liking. It is unfair, and often a monopolistic, ego driven behavior from the consoles boss to assume that they can find a couple of titles for their entire base that will represent the overall tastes and liking. or is it just "throwing random freebies at your mouth and that's all you get to eat" kind of deal?
