Exclusive games need to die out

We are so spoiled as Playstation gamers
Isnt it crazy how much of a desert Xbox and Nintendo are in comparsion?
With voice cloning tech characters can now say an unlimited amount of things.
For example lets say your walking around the map in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. A bird flies by. Cloud might say "I didn't know birds could live this close to Midgar." And it would be a line that no other gamer would ever hear Cloud say. It would be 100% unique to you and your experience because it was generated by AI impromptu speech/voice cloning.
Characters could literally never say the same thing twice
@DarthaPerkinjan: Sounds like AI answered your question... at some point we won't even be needed...
I think you have to look at AI as a powerful tool. When someone invented the wheel it didn't mean we didn't need our feet anymore. When someone invented the tractor it didn't mean farmers weren't needed anymore. When the internet became mainstream it didn't mean physical stores were no longer needed. These were just powerful tools that expediated work. I feel AI will be the same.
Chat GPT has spoken
We should ask ChatGPT:
"How will AI help game development in the future"
My hope is
- Speed up Game development. If AI can speed up game development by lets say 33% that would be huge. It can do this by accomplishing in seconds tedious tasks like concept art, lip synching, environment creation, etc.
- voice cloning to add your voice or a famous voice to any or all characters in the game. Want to know what Snake would sound like if Jason Statham was the voice actor? Or Samuel L jackson?
- Intelligent, 'random' dialogue from NPCs who can actually hold impromptu conversations with you, not just repeating the same 5 lines over and over
I know theres alot more benefits AI will bring
This one where the interviewer asked me 'name a supervisor you had a close friendship with'.
I was like...umm...I never had a 'close friendship' with a supervisor before. And then he just snapped at me and said 'how old are you? and you never had a close friendship with a supervisor? You see here we are friends with eachother. We work as a team.'
It was so stupid.
Another guy was so racist. The first question he asked me was 'where are your parents from?' which was basically asking what my race was. Racist as hell and something you definitely arent allowed to ask on interviews.
