This is utterly and completely disgusting. Gaming has become a haven for the elitist, egotistical, and immature. This "entitlement" is just proof of that. For example, the ongoing fight between gamers over the weapons in Gears of War 3. People literally attacking eachother and fighting over it because THEY think THEIR way is the only way to play the game. Go to the Epic forums and see for yourself, its beyond ridiculous, and why I don;t play GOW3 Versus mode. People like this are what is ruining gaming, not Jennifer Hepler. A constant stream of attacking, harassing, name calling, insulting, etc THOSE are the things ruining gaming. Jennifer Hepler has as much right to say what she wants in a game as anyone else. If it is OK for one, it is OK FOR ALL!!! There is no "community", there is just the game. Bioware didn't make a "community", they made a game. That is where it ends. No "loyal fans" or all this other garbage. It's just a game. Play it and enjoy it, that is where it ends.
Publishers go WAY beyond lying now. They flat leave parts of the game out on purpose to charge for it as DLC later. DLC has become a rip off. 60 dollars isn't enough I guess. Thank you for spitting on the consumer. Honestly, the direction the industry is heading makes me sick. The constant bombardment advertisement tactics make me just as ill.
"Save the Series". What, a new game every 12 months isn't ENOUGH??? The obvious running out of ideas for AC Revelations was proof of why they need to take a break for a few years. Idiotic Desmond FPS parts that were sloppy controlled and flat out ridiculous, and don't get me started on the RTS Tower Defense garbage. Those two things nearly ruined the game for me right there. The addition of MP doesn't work for me either. It's a tacked on trend that doesn't frankly belong in AC. And, please don't tell me an Assassin/Warrior/Whatever cannot block and escape an attack in the MP....just horrible design. As much as I enjoy AC, it's getting tired now, very tired. Just stick to how it was in AC2, that was the best game of the 4.
