Yeah forums for the most part are dead outside of SW. The site redesign just destroyed this site for me. :( Only come here nowadays to look at the news and look at the comments attached to the news.
Not recently, but it still holds a spot as one of my favorite gaming experiences as well as one of the games i've spent the longest amount playing overall. It was one of the first games I bought when I purchased a xbox 360(along with Gears of War), which was my first next gen console at the time, and man did it blow my mind! Granted, it was one of the first games I played where NPC's had a schedule and where the world just felt alive so I didn't really care about how the combat was. All that mattered to me was that it worked as I explored what was a beautiful world to me which was filled with enemies, dungeons, quests, and essentially a living soul.
I stopped playing it a year after Skyrim came out to check it out and nothing really click about it the same way Oblivion did. The world felt desolate and empty. Yeah they were dragons, but they didn't feel as epic after you fought them the fith time around. I don't know, something about Skyrim didn't give me the same feeling Oblivion did.
Every conference this year was awful. I'm so disappointed so far this year. Please Ninty give us something to draw hype from. :(

Microsoft had great moments, so did Sony's conference, before the Douche reared his ugly head.
That guy is like a cheese grader on my ears. The Blond heavy set guy "I try to hard" Mega dork. Came in at a close second.
Nintendo needs to bring it. They don't have one quarter of these multi-plats.
No, I think I'm pretty spot on. Nothing was truly WOWING in either press conference for me besides Sunset Overdrive or Mortal Kombat. Everything else was CG trailer after another, exclusives that fit a usual niche genre, or gameplay trailers we've seen before. Absolutely nothing was as hype as the E3's that came before this one.
I'm pretty sad I sat and watched both of those conferences. Nothing made E3.....E3.
