Same here, this is complete bullshit, Gamespot is dying. I stopped coming here about a month ago because of the pointless content and the ads, only here today to see if there is going to 100 game stream or something.

It's a shame that Gamespot looks to be on the way out, hopefully they can reverse the down trend by A) making it a gaming site once again and B) stopping all the intrusive ads.

And if you disable the correct div in dev mode you can remove the ad.

It is becoming more and more difficult to continue using Gamespot, the ads have become more and more intrusive. And the articles are becoming more and more non-game related. I like the videos here and I will always come back for those, but the day to day news, might start going to PC Gamer for that.

Yeah I will be forced to, I am more then happy to have non intrusive ads, but GameSpot has really punched me over the edge.

The ads on this site is becoming a real issue, I will leave a tab open and then suddenly after a few hours a audio ad will start playing. Or I will load up a video and a music ad will almost blow my speakers. And today one of those page take over ads appeared, that rendered all links disabled after I have closed it.

Gamespot is cool, but this is starting to become an issue, if nothing it done I will eventually get tried and go to the terribly designed site that is IGN or something.
