Ah, I got confused. it says my first assignment is ranger training, but thats after basic, AIT, and airborne school.

MagnumPI

That makes more sense....

Isn't airborne in itself pretty hard?

Well if he wants to be airborne all he has to do is wait for a slot to open in jump school. Then he does his jump training and when he passes they give him his jump wings. It's not difficult it's just that everytime you jump (go airborne) you get a bonus refered ro as jump pay.

Ranger School is tough. Only so many are gonna pass so they train the hell out of everyone until the desired number of recruits quit. Same as sniper school. They weed out the best then flush the rest. You have to REALLY want to be a ranger in order to become a ranger. Rangers aren't quiters, so the instructorsfigure if they can't make you quit if you will tackle whatever obsticle they give you and if you will take whatever **** they give with a smile after 48-72 hours with no sleep you have what it take to be a ranger.

When they call for rangers they expect men that won't quit, men that will do whatever to achieve the objective, dying if necessary. When they call for rangers they want men who are toodetermined to fail.

Ranger school puts you through a lot. LRRPS, Delta Force and Special Forces/Green Berets all recruit most oftheir canidates from the rangers. Rangers are basically the Army'sbest of the best so Rangersare groomed for Special Forces.

Are youhoping to be an airborne medic? AKA Para-medic.

Yes I'm hoping to become and Airborne medic. I've read a little about ranger training but not too much...but it seems tough, and I heard it was. My sgt keeps telling me that too. I think as long as I have enough motivation and I am prepared by running alot/working out, it will still be tough, but not as tough as if I just sit around and do nothing until Basic.

Today I decided that I'll be in the U.S. Army for the next four years. I've done all the paperwork and everything. I leave to (dont knwo where yet) for Ranger Training for 1-2 weeks starting july 2nd, then Georga on July 11th for basic training for nine weeks, then to texas for training to be a medic on september 15th for 19 weeks, then back to georga for 3 more weeks for airborne training.

I'm going to be a Health Care Specialist for the United States Army Airborne Rangers.

I am so excited. I can't wait to finish senior year now.

So you're gonna go to ranger school before you basic training. Ranger School is longer than two weeks, much longer.

Nice, i'll be enlisting in the United States Air Force after this next term. Good Luck.Tolwan
I can't join the Air Force until after college since I go to an alternative school. BTW Thanks for all the people that support my decision, and not bashing the military. I've heard enough of that lately.

How are you doing Ranger training before you go through basic, and ranger training is a 9 week course separated into 3 different phases. Any way good luck.

canadiankidd91

how many red lights and where?

4 red lights means not plugged in right.

3 is bad. RROD if 1 or 2 lights I don't think it's bad. I don't think you can get 2 though lol.

I had one red ring and when I turned it on it said "System Error. Contact Xbox Customer Support"

So I am on #2

I work at Best Buy customer service, we handle all Xbox 360 exchanges in the store. We DO NOT send any system in for repair. It doesn't matter if it says PSP or PRP they are both handled the same when doing an exchange on the system. So you can all stop blaming MS and/or Best Buy because everything still functions the same. I would have been told if they are handled any other way. They switched the saying to PSP about 6 months ago and we have yet to change how we do the returns and exchanges on the Xbox 360.spinecaton
Then why did I have to mail mine in to get a gift card.
